Bug Good actor, though what the fuck does a Hollywood actor know about politics, exactly they know jack shit - for if they do know shit, they cater to their fans because they also know jack shit. Anybody smart though would know these people are in it for themselves. just because everybody knows them and they are on the big screen doesn't mean they are your best source, they just influence the masses to boost their reputation, particularly the dumbasses who don't want to bother with politics individually

Hoffa's disappearance has led to countless books,movies and new articles. Tens of thousands of amateur and pro detectives tracking down even the smallest of leads. Digging up land, using radar on a "bump" on a football field. All for such a saint as Hoffa. However, names like Vince Foster,Seth Rich, Wiki has hundreds listed. We don't care who gets murdered but call it "whacked" and there is a Italian around and we are fascinated.

Sheeran's story is credible as to the facts. But what makes it all the more compelling is that it came out at the end of his life, basically on his deathbed. Deathbed confessions to long-past crimes deserve serious consideration as there are usually very few incentives to lie at that point, and quite a few disincentives, particularly that it risks changing how you are remembered by your family and friends.
@Swismcgraw

@@Swismcgraw Well, yes, obviously we still don't know the truth. I'm not saying we do. Nonetheless, at English common law, deathbed confessions (where the dying person knows he is dying and admits responsibility for a crime) were afforded special status under evidence rules. These confessions just happen to be more likely to be true. 'More likely' doesn't mean 'always' of course. So as amateur historians considering the potential veracity of Sheeran's story, we can choose to ignore his confession or not. Either is a valid approach to analysis with good reasons for it. I happen to think his admission of this crime, finally discharging the massive guilt he must have felt for killing his friend and destroying a family knew well, should be taken seriously.

They send a friend for several reasons. One is to get close. Another is so that the rest of the crew knows the job was done _"clean"_ and not drug out to make them suffer. That causes bad blood which can come back at you later. A _"clean"_ hit is easier for the crew to accept.

If Sheeran can say, "He (Hoffa) was one of the best men I ever knew," then I can't help but wonder that Sheeran (and anyone he regularly associated with) never put any value -- at all -- on genuinely decent people: i.e. folks who have a conscience and strive every day to do the right thing from moment to moment, trying to follow "The Golden Rule" in their dealings with other people. I try to avoid clichés like the word "evil," but for someone this cold-hearted and depraved, I think it fits. Their Karma follows them at death into their next lives. Choose your friends (and all associates) VERY carefully, folks!

It’s pretty obvious sheeran didn’t kill hoffa, but I doubt Michael Franzese knows who did it either

@@fort809 What makes it so obvious? He made the claim that there was blood underneath the floor boards of that particular house, and it was indeed corroborated. The DID find the blood, and this was something only someone involved would know. Now the blood didn't yield DNA results, as they were inconclusive, but it didn't rule him out. Of all the theories over the years this is the only one that carries the most weight.

Franzese it a tool trying to get KZbin likes. Franks own daughters say he did it and gallo story corroborated by Buffalino family. Like Charles Brandt said, he’s put 4 people on death row with less evidence

Let's not forget, Nixon commuted Hoffa's sentence and within a year, "he was gone and there's nothin we can do about it."
