@@min2793 I completely forgot about this comment... Anyhow, you seem confused... Dust Hill was going to be the original desert level in Sonic 2. Desert Dazzle on the other hand, was suppose to be the desert level for SONIC CD, but was scrapped as well. This is confirmed as Tax Man (the creator of the retro engine), mentioned that he wanted to bring Desert Dazzle back in the 2011 remake of Sonic CD but never finished it. Bonus Fact: The cactus sprites from Sonic Manias Mirage Saloon Zone are from leftover sprites on Desert Dazzle.

@@min2793 This is a mistake, just like the Olympus Stage, which was incorrectly listed on Simon Wai as Neo Green Hill Zone, and in the final release is called: Aquatic Ruin Zone. Neo Green Hill fits more to Emerald Hill, isn't it? This stage has the same issue on Simon Wai since the Dust Hill name fits more for a desert-themed level than a spooky cave. And listening to this music is possible to feel the desert theme vibes.
