Yes, and it is a damn shame, he was easily my favorite character In the series, I've watched Dragon Ball Super up until after the fight where goku goes SSB+Kaioken and tbh they probably had room to make Gohan even stronger, off the top of my head he could have pulled the same stunt and have gotten an even more powerful transformation such as "Super Saiyan Mystic God" but that is only a theory.

Since you guys are arguing, I'll clear up all misconceptions. ssj3 goku said with enough time, he would be able to defeat fat buu. fat buu is weaker than kid buu and kid buu is MUCH weaker than super buu. ssj3 gotenks was on par with super buu but buu had unlimited stamina so gotenks would lose eventually. gohan was toying with super buu, meaning the level difference between them is too high to even count. so to conclude, gohan was capable of one shotting ssj3 goku at that time just like how goku ssjbkk can one shot gohan now.

Gohan stomps without issue. No one came anywhere close the entire arc to doing as well agaisnt buu. And gohan fought the strongest non fused version of buu. Gohan couldnt even be TOUCHED by super buu. Also, goku is not a better fighter than gohan. He just isnt. Also, gohan ss2 wasnt weaker. He just lost his fighting spirit essentially. He was rusty.

Vegeta pretty clearly states Gohan's fighting instincts are a mess in his battle with Dabura, in terms of pure skill Goku is superior to Gohan in a fight. In the fight with Cell Goku sets Gohan up by fighting first so he can understand how Cell fights and moves because of the lack of experience Gohan has in fighting would be a huge disadvantage. Gohan didn't do much training or fighting in the 7 year time skip either.

And Goku even at SSJ3 wasn't able to take on base Super Buu as evidenced by him still wanting to fuse with Vegeta in order to fight Super Buu and being upset about the potara being gone so they couldn't re-fuse again. Then there's things like Picollo outright saying Gotenks is the strongest power he's ever sensed as mentioned above etc.. (although it's funi-dub) But most important evidence of all is one i've NEVER seen people use before i started mentioning it; and that's the KILI measurements! Everyone agreed that SS2 Adult Gohan was roughly equal to Dabura in power, and Dabura specifically stated that he had about 4,000 Kili of power; therefore SSJ2 Adult Gohan = ~4,000 Kili. Then we have SSJ1 Goku being stated to have 3,000 Kili, meaning that SSJ2 Goku has 6,000 Kili and SSJ3 Goku has 24,000 Kili since SSJ2 is a 2x multiplier over SSJ1 and SSJ3 is a 4x multiplier over SSJ2. So this means that Gohan would only need a 6x multiplier to his SSJ2 power in order to outpower SSJ3 Goku. SSJ2 Gohan couldn't do SQUAT against Fat Buu, but Mystic Gohan was able to STOMP THE HELL out of Super Buu who is FAR stronger as Super Buu is literally Kid Buu fusing with Fat Buu (good side fusing with evil side etc..). And since Evil Buu was easily able to overpower Fat Buu we know that Super Buu is AT LEAST "twice" the power of Fat Buu...and the way Fat Buu was destroying SSJ2 Gohan but not quite up to SSJ3 Goku's level, it's safe to say Fat Buu is somewhere in-between SSJ2 Gohan's 4,000 Kili power and SSJ3 Goku's 24,000 Kili; likely closer to Goku than Gohan. Even if we assume that Fat Buu is only 12,000 Kili (putting him at HALF of SSJ3 Goku's power) his fusing with Evil Buu who had to at least be ~13,000 Kili to beat Fat Buu, would put Super Buu at a total of 25,000 Kili MINIMUM!!....and Mystic Gohan DESTROYED Super Buu!!! So if Mystic Gohan >>>> Super Buu, and Super Buu > SSJ3 Goku, then Mystic Gohan is OBVIOUSLY stronger than SSJ3 Goku!! And subsequently, if SSJ3 Gotenks > or = to Super Buu then SSJ3 Gotenks > SSJ3 Goku.

@@hollow9302 The Super Buu Gohan faces outright states he is the strongest form of Buu and he was aware of his Kid Buu self, also as Modi pointed out Goku didn't even entertain the idea of fighting regular Super Buu and Gohan man-handled him. Kid Buu is the most dangerous form of Buu but he is not the strongest version, but because he lacks any empathy and chaotic in nature, he is more than willing willing to blow up the planet he is on without hesitation. Mystic Gohan is way above SS3 Goku at this point in the story.

I see where all of you guys are coming from but the statement made about ssj 3 goku being weaker than gohan was made before goku was revived by the elder kai, the zenkai boost from goku's revival is never really addressed in any of these arguments. The boost would make for a very interesting and potentially different winner of the power scale. Remember when goku was revived amd returned to earth his very first attack landed and cut buu in half, it's not like he was going to return at the same power level he was against the fat buu. I was always under the assumption that upon goku's revival, he was relatively similar to mystic gohan in strength. I am still a firm believer that regardless of who is physically stronger goku would win in a battle between the two simply from experience and battle knowledge.

Goku doesn't get a Zenkai boost from being brought back to life. Goku only gets it from coming back from _near_ death. And later, Goku admits that he doesn't stand a chance against Super Buu, even with Vegeta's help. Meanwhile, Gohan can easily defeat Super Buu. Experience and Battle knowledge means very little in a fight if you can't catch or hurt your opponent. Otherwise, Roshi would win every fight in the series due to his 1000 years of experience.

Ssj x 50 Ssj2 x 100 Ssj3 x 150 times stronger than base form. You know why? Ssj 3 is gokus own invention. When he transforms to ssj3 he is breaking his ssj2 limits. Sort of kaioken for base goku. Although it's a consensus in the community that Gohan SSJ2 was nowhere near half of F.Buu's actual power, if I was to play the game of assumptions as your entire video did, then SSJ3 Goku wasn't able to make a dent on F.Buu stating later on in his brawl with Kid Buu that it was due to him not being at full power, so I would assume that SSJ3 goku vs F.buu is around 2-3.x SSJ2 goku and not 4x (since he wasn't going all out). Since vegeta stated that SSJ2 Goku was Stronger than even Teen Gohan and Adult Gohan is weaker due to lack of training, and SSJ3 Goku at half or 3/4 of his power is around equal to F.buu, I would say that SSJ2 Gohan is at best a 2/10 in comparison to F.Buu's power. Again, Gohan with the E.Kai boost is stronger than Goku, your argument is just too inconsistent to prove it. It doesn't need a full video, SSJ3 Goku wouldn't fight Super Buu, Gohan was pummeling him, It's safe to assume that Gohan is "Way Stronger" than Goku, but trying to turn it into a game of numbers and approximations is like beating your dick against concrete, it won't get you anywhere. Personally I've always doubted the multipliers in DBZ, outside of the kaio ken, as they seem flimsy. Specially when you don't need to be... several times stronger than other person to trash them, even a 10 to 20% stronger is enough to completely demolish your rival, and using stronger as "better in every stat", not just physical strength. It turned out badly for base Gotenks, of course, but that means he massively improved nonetheless! It's a safe guess to say his "new" Base was comparable with his "old" SS1 form. Scaling him to SS3 Goku.... In base. This means the Gotenks who fought Super Buu is very possibly 50 times stronger than his previous self. Meaning... Gohan is even far stronger than you estimated ;)

Mystic Gohan is just more durable than SS3 Goku! But in terms of power, SS3 Goku is superior! Not to a great margin of course, only a little! There are 3 arguments which lead to this conclusion! First, when Goku transformed to SS3 for the first time, he unleashed more power than when Gohan turned Mystic for the first time! Also, while Goku's power caused an earthquake on Earth and his scream was so powerful that it was heard even in the Other World, Gohan's powering up was not that much fierceful compared to Goku's. It only caused turbulence in the World of the Kais. Second, when Goku saw Gohan's newly-acquired powers for the first time, he was excited that's true, but not to a great extent! This means that Goku knew that Mystic Gohan still didn't surpass him, even with his new, great powers. And the third argument is that when Goku had a brief fight with Buutenks, he was in his SS3 form! And when Buutenks eventually lost Gotenks inside him and remained as Buuccolo only, Goku told him: ''You don't expect to beat me in that form. Goku clearly feared super buu, which means even in SSJ3 he can not beat him. Gotenks was capable of handling super buu, so we know they are roughly the same tier. Gohan mystic dominates super buu like the lil Biatch he is, which of course confirms Gohan is the strongest, which basically everyone has come to accept. This is a damn good question. Ultimate Gohan easily demolished Super Buu. When Buutenks lost power & reverted to Buuiccolo (Piccolo, Trunks & Goten absorbed) Goku in SSJ3 said "you don't plan on beating me like that do you"? Goku must have gotten stronger during the gap between him fighting Majin Buu. Goku would be closer to Gohan than Super Buu was but Gohan is stronger plus Ultimate dosen't drain like SSJ3. Goku would be a tougher opponent than Super Buu based on his statement towards Buu but Gohan would ultimately win in power & stamina. Ultimate Gohan > Goku SSJ3 > Buuiccolo > Super Buu.

Gotenks trained in the HTC (ROSAT) for about six weeks so lets say for argument sake Gotenks doubled his power (which is very little because they trained alone and the multiplier for fusion) as a SSJ. Gotenks went SSJ3 which is a 8x multiplier and he already is 2x stronger than Goku which makes Gotenks 16x stronger than Goku. You forgot the major component of Kid Buu who according to the Kais is the most powerful version of Buu. And SSJ3 Goku held his own against Kid Buu. I actually been making this discussion for a while. I still think Goku SSJ3 Goku is stronger or at least closer to Ultimate Gohan then people say. Goku could have defeated Fat Buu as stated. Gohan handled Super Buu easily until Gotenks and Piccolo were absorbed. Even when Goku showed up he still wanted to fuse with Gohan to stop Gotenks Buu. When Gotenks fusion finally expired Buu had the power up Piccolo, but I think of Gotens and Trunks. Goku indicated that fusion was no longer required. This indicates to me Goku could handle Super Buu and Super Buu with Piccolo, Gotens, and Trunks absorbed. Goku did fight Gotenks Buu for a while Gohan was looking for the earring, and it seemed Goku was holding his own. Goku could have defeated Kid Buu if he went all out in the beginning as stated. Kid Buu was not stronger, yes more reckless and dangerous because of his wild nature. I think it has been clearly stated that Ultimate Gohan is stronger, but I think the gap is smaller between him and Goku SSJ3.

Why is this still a debate? some people still insist ssj3 goku is stronger than ultimate gohan. In episode 260 of the Funimation dub, goku and supreme kai watch gotenks bust out of the hyperbolic time chamber, supreme kai asks why he looks different. Goku says they are super saiyan 3 now. Goku's quote about ssj3 gotenks is "They've pushed themselves to a point i couldn't even reach until my entire life was over". Goku says he can go ssj3 as well and then says ssj3 gotenks is way stronger than him. Ultimate gohan was obviously a lot stronger than ssj3 gotenks and doesn't have the side effects of ssj3. That is a testament to ultimate gohan's power, he is stronger than a FUSED SSJ3...also super buu still jokes around with ssj3 gotenks and get's off a lot of attack. When gohan shows up, he says that he had been waiting for him the whole time and that he sensed his power growing across the universe. He showed fear just from gohan's presence, and gohan easily handles him.

There are two different versions of the DBZ story, the U.S. version and the Japanese version, our version, power levels and storyline only applies to us who speak and read English. The Japanese version only applies to those who read write and speak Japanese. These two versions are not to be mixed. Why? Because at they're core they are very different. I'll give you an example the power level for Raditz in the English version is 1,200. And for the Japanese version it's 1,500. Even though there are similarities between the two, at they're core they are as different as night and day. This includes storyline and everything thing else. I am only talking about the Japanese version, I am only referring to the English/ U.S. Version when I am speaking on anything having to do with DBZ. It would be a different story if I engaged in the Japanese version, but I don't. I speak read and write English, I'm a black American. It doesn't matter if people say this is wrong or that is wrong with the English dub in either manga or anime. Your comparing it to the Japanese version which will never make sense if you do it that way because they extremely different. If you look at the English / U.S version of the DBZ series on it's own it's all good. But when you constantly pit it against the Japanese version you will only find conflict. They are similar in certain aspects, but are very different in others. The English version was created this way so it could be shown that it is clearly and definitively different from their version.

So here is is some evidence that SSJ3 Goku is somewhere near or even above Mystic Gohan. - It is stated 2 times (toward Piccola and Vegeta) that SSJ3 Goku could have easy defeated fat Buu (Fat buu easy knocked out Gotenks base). - After Gotenks fusion inside Buu wore off, Goku said "i don't need to fight anymore, Gohan can beat you now. and it did not sound like he was afraid - more like: why should i do the work? gohan can do it. - When Super Buu turns into Kid buu it is staded 3 Times! (by Vegeta, Goku and supreme Kai) that he even got stronger (in comparison wich super buu) and SSJ3 Goku could keep up with Kid buu, he just could not hold the engery level long enough. - Why did Vegeta suggest Spirit bomb instead of just bringing Mystic Gohan to kill off kid buu since he toyed around with super buu? i guess Vegeta was aware of the fact that Kid buu is stronger than super buu (Supreme Kai said: strongest and most evil buu). it is hard to find an accurate result as there are mixed informations in Anime/manga etc. but i am pretty sure that there is not much of difference between SSJ3 and Mystic.

Pure Evil Buu is shown to be stronger than Fat Buu and Super Buu is shown to be stronger than Pure Evil Buu. Goku states that Gotenks could easily defeat Fat Buu(This was before anyone knew he could even go SSJ3 so Goku most likely didn't even think they could achieve the form). Gotenks being the idiot that he is got his ass beat by Fat Buu but again it was bc he's an idiot. When Fat Buu turned into Super Buu he gave Gotenks a very difficult time even as a SSJ3. Goku knew that as a fusion that Gotenks is probably around his level of power (most likely regular SSJ Gotenks=SSJ3 Goku) but to add even more to that, Gotenks did spend 6 weeks in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Piccolo(is where he most likely learned SSJ3) so when they left the chamber he was stronger than when he entered. Enough about Gotenks and more on Goku and Super Buu. When Super Buu absorbed Gotenks he immediately dominated Ultimate Gohan yadda yadda ya When their fusion ran out during Buutenks battle with Goku, Goku never once stated "I don't need to fight you anymore" he said "Gohan we don't need to fuse anymore, I believe Gohan should he able to defeat him now". Goku was in no rush to fight Super Buu. Another example is how Goku knew perfectly well both when he was inside Super Buu's body and when they left that he was no match for Super Buu. Goku was in fact able to go blow for blow with Kid Buu, but would most likely have died against Super Buu without someone there to fuse with him.

I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. the major factor in that fight would be the massive energy drain that SSJ3 places on it's user as opposed to Gohan's "ultimate or mystic" form which seems to put no significant strain on him whatsoever as it's simply an unleashing of his true dormant power. Therefor the fight which would without question go for an extended period of time would favor the fighter with the greater stamina. Also Goku's base form of SSJ3 is roughly equal to Kid Buu before the energy drain effects him, and Kid Buu is specifically stated to have far less raw power than the super Buu form, "albeit far more destructive and unpredictable." and Gohan dominated super buu before being absorbed.

You are using speculation, assuming that Goku can train away the energy draining properties of the SSJ3 form. I am using the information that we can clearly see in the series. SSJ3 Goku was resurrected and operating in the other world when he fought Kid Buu and still tapped out very fast. Chuong Nguyen, For all intents and purposes ssj3 Gotenks is Super Buu's equal, despite the time limit for the fusion. Super Saiyan 3 Goku is much stronger than Super Buu. Not Super Buu with absorbed heroes, but Super Buu with his own power and nothing more. There was another filler scene in the anime where Goku is gettin embarrassed by Super Buu with the added power of ssj3 Gotenks. As soon as the fusion time limit expired Super Buu with the added power of Piccolo became afraid of Goku. This heavily implies that Super Buu with the added power of Piccolo is much weaker than Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Goku also stated something like " even Gohan can beat you now". The word "even" greatly implies that Goku is not the only one who can defeat this form of Super Buu. Any level of Super Saiyan under 3 is rendered useless because Super Buu is stronger than all of those forms. Goku came to earth to fuse with his son, Gohan because Super Buu with the added power of ssj3 Gotenks is on a level so high, Gohan nor a high level Super Saiyan 3, I.E. Goku can beat him individually, but will prove to be superior to him as a fused being. If Super Buu+ Piccolo tried to fight ssj3 Goku he would have lost, easily. In the anime, there was a filler scene where Goten and Trunks fuse, become Gotenks and whoop on base form Goku. This shows that base form Gotenks is much stronger than base form Goku. But as soon as Goku becomes a Super Saiyan he easily defeats Gotenks. There is a relative power struggle, going back and forth. If Gotenks went ssj he would've stomped on ssj Goku. Now, if Goku transformed again, to become a ssj2, he would clearly be stronger than a ssj Gotenks. Yes, that's right, so that mean's that ssj2 Vegeta is stronger than ssj Gotenks bcuz he and Goku are equals at that level. It goes without saying that Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks is on a much higher level, there's no contest. Take note, when Goku goes Super Saiyan 3 he would be on a level much greater than that of ssj3 Gotenks. In the filler scene Goku as a Super Saiyan straight up dominated base form Gotenks. The timeline of this movie is set one month after the defeat of kid buu. There is no way you have the exact same power scaling from a filler scene within the anime that matches that of the movie, if it weren't true. My power scaling for the buu arc goes like this: Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Gohan, and ssj3 Gotenks. That's the same scale I have placed for the anime and the manga. Some fans will say that oh Goku just trained and became stronger than Gohan, in movie 13. But Gohan never lost any power, even if he never trained for that entire month after the defeat of kid buu. That's just not gonna happen. The same goes for Gotenks. They actually establish in the anime and in movie 13, Goku's superiority to Gotenks. Not so much for Gohan in the anime, they kinda leave it up there. But not for Gotenks. Can Gotenks defeat Goku on any level? The answer is yes, but only if he can take Goku by surprise while Goku is in a weaker form than Gotenks. If they both went all out, Gotenks will lose every single time. I am aware I am using filler and a movie to get my point across. Let me point out that I have always believed in this order ssj3 Goku, Gohan, ssj3 Gotenks. The filler scene, and an entire DBZ movie both mirror my personal power scaling perspective, perfectly.

Goku could still possibly defeat gohan, as he managed to take on kid buu for some time on that planet. All of this in depth analysis and example from manga, anime etc... and yet the most crucial determining factor is still being missed by everyone here. To put it simply: power levels are bull****. Don't try add multipliers, analyze battles, compare translations or anything else. They make it up as they go along. It's that simple guys.

Tell me just where exactly did I use power levels? Because That is All I hear from whiny fans who can;t do simple algebra prroblems, and do something as simple as read the manga " wah wah power levels are bullshit because they are too complicated for me to understand" Power level are bullshit, they always have, and they always will. My videos are in way shape or form factoring in "meaningless numbers" I am factoring numbers that represent the time frame that characters are in. So when I say Majin buu is 10/10....I am literally referring to a point in the manga where that was said and shown narratively. Thank you, I am just saying that just based on the dislikes I am getting recently. I feel people are taking this video way too seriously. Point is, Gohan is stronger than Goku in the Buu saga. As it's been proven that super buu is stronger than kid buu. So based on that, I was coming up with a way to somehow convey how potentially gohan is strong. because many know whose stronger than who, but not many can come up with to convey "how much" That's all I was doing in this video. I even said in the begning in the video. Even though gohan is known to be stronger, I can;t say for sure that he would beat goku.

Lets try basic math.Yakkon = 800 kili , SS1 Goku = 3K kili, SS2 Goku/Vegeta = 3K*2=6K kili, Dabura/SS2 Gohan(based on fight) =4K kili.SS3 Goku = 6K*4=24K kili.Now if you watch closely SS2 Gohan filled 13 ticks out of 20 from the Fat Buu meter with Yamu & Spopowich which is 65% of Fat Buu's full power.So Fat Buu 100% = 4K*20/13= 6153 kili say 6.1K Kili.Fat Buu & SS1 Gotenks supposedly at the same level since SS1 Gotenks was deemed enough to atleast take on Fat Buu.So SS1 Gotenks =6.1K.SS3 Gotenks = 6.1*8=48.8K kili.Now as mentioned by Goku,Super Gotenks Buu looses a third of his power(coz no more SS3 Gotenks inside) on turning back to Piccolo Buu.This implies Super Gotenks Buu is thrice of SS3 Gotenks= 48.8K*3=146.4K.Finally Ultimate Gohan almost being a match for Super Gotenks Buu say for the sake of multiplier corresponding to ss3 goku's 24K and being less or equal to 146.4K of Super Gotenks Buu we can take 144K(6times stronger so Utlimate Gohan = 144 K = ss3 Goku * 6 times... another factor in the Goku Vs Gohan is the zenkai boost. They power up saiyans to become stronger in their base forms, if their power grows largely then the multiplication of the super saiyan form en the Mystic form is going to make a huge difference in power

you know the funny thing about Goku fans is. they wont even accept that Gohan surpass his own father. im a Vegeta fan. if Ssj rage trunks surpass ssj blue. as a proud Vegeta fan i would be honored. he is Vegetas son which makes sense to me he can always surpass his father like Gohan did. you know Goku is the son of Bardock. and he was a low level saiyan who worked for frieza. its natural that young saiyans can be very OP. beginning of Dbz. I don't believe gotenks was stronger than goku, and even gotenks ss3 is questionable. remember, goten and trunks are CONSIDERABLY weaker than goku. I believe the only reason they resorted to gotenks was because goku could not handle ss3 very well and therefore was at a disadvantage. now, I'm not trying to disprove Gohan being stronger because he very obviously was, I just believe your facts on gotenks were wrong. really, a lot of your video in my belief was. really pertaining to exact strength comparisons. I believed Gohan to be somewhere around 7 times stronger than goku. but I do like that your argument would give more validity to kid buu being the strongest form of buu though (which I believe he is).

No they aren't. The fact that Buu retains Piccolo's traits means Piccolo is stronger than both Goten and Trunks. They barely were able to handle Android 18 in the tournament. They are only as strong as Final Form Frieza.

you when you watch the anime no where did i really feel that gotenks was so powerful that he can be 20 times stronger even gohan. to say he's 10- 20 times stronger is crazy. you just don't get that impression at all from that buu arc when u watch it. u really don't seriously. Also fat buu owned gotenks in his base from by the way. just putting that out there. Just something to think about, What do u think is the difference between fat buu and super buu? They are same being just one dominated by evil and the other not in full control of his power as he personally was mellowed over from absorbing the kais. Buu was always as strong as super buu but just restrained from his history with the kais. Kid buu in theory if you go by buu's history should be his most complete and powerful form compared to super buu that is.

No reason to assume ssj1 gotanks is as strong as ssj3 goku, only assume that he is at least as strong as fat bu and significantly stronger than ssj3 goku once he's ssj3 (because goku says he would never catch up if he trained his whole life). 15/10. so 120/10 at ssj3. So ultimate gohan can be 6-7x as strong as goku ssj3. What I want to know is, what happens if gohan unlocks god ki. I think ssb gohan would be as strong as ssb goku with kioken x10

Yea my feeling is ss3 is bigger than a 4 x ss2 muliper because of how much they conveyed the energy drain on ss3.
