The American Psychological Association and the British Psychological Society have discredited Graphology because many research studies in psychology have not found support for handwriting characteristics being related to personality or behavioral characteristics. Graphology is considered to be a pseudoscience with no scientific credibility by psychology, sociology, anthropology and criminology. No U.S. university offers courses, much less degrees in Graphology. Graphology appears to work using single subjects because of confirmation bias and illusory correlation.
