Oh, what a memory. Me and my wife did it at the beginning of winter in 2019. But we were lucky enough to cross the Larke La though there was heavy snowfall. Thank you to those yaks and herders who cleared the way. Most underrated trekking routes. Highly recommended.

This was a lovely, gentle film, thank you for posting. Because you are native Nepali (?) , somehow the atmosphere is less intrusive than the usual routine of Westerners putting cameras in the faces of long suffering mountain villagers. Your videos are so soothing and serene to watch. I pause the video and google earth everytime you mention the stop places . However, i notice that snow and greens are more on the Nepalese side than the Chinese side which is rather dry and barren. I was wondering whether the reason is because the monsoon rains don't reach the Chinese mountains .

There is no 'chinese side' - only the area that the 'dogs of asia' tried to capture. Nepalese, Tibetans, Hindus, and Sikhs have always gotten along in this region. It is only the chinese vermin that spoil the party.
