I have a curiousity. When you are about to record the cover. Tone wise do u try to match it as close as possible to the original by listening to the song and adjusting ur amp by ear. Or do u just use whatever sounds good to you?

Not really. I have 3 different distorted tones that I use for everything. One light, one heavy and one somewhere in the middle and I just go with whichever one sounds best for the song I'm doing.

@MysticGuitar77 cool. I have 2 distorted settings One is for practice and the other is for playing songs. I remember back in the si vis pacem para bellum days u had spot on tone with the C1 also identical to the album.
