Got mine pretty much as soon as I got the console, as I'd gotten used to a third party charging dock for the DualShock 4. Took a little time to get used to the alignment but once I did it's so simple to just pop it on there and take it off with no physical connection.

Honestly I like the stands. I had one for my ps4 and ordered one for ps5. I just like having things in one area like that and without a bunch of cords everywhere. Sure there cheap but they do what there suppose to and keep things organized. Sure officially licensed ones would perform higher on cooling and maybe charge controllers faster but at that point they would get too expensive for its purpose.

i use the play vital dust cover on mine, from amazon i did notice it made a massive difference to dust in Ps5 over 5months which i shared it was pretty clean. Especially when you have ducted heating which is not the best for your ps5 or lungs . Great accessory review Ryan , as always your channel is a massive inspiration to us smaller creators

I could see the Dualsense keypad being useful for MMO's like PSO2 or FFXIV. When I play FF I have a bluetooth keyboard that I just have to keep on my coffee table as I hold the Dualsense for actual playing of the game and it's a bit of an unwieldy setup.

I have that same horizontal stand and I use it because I needed a way to lift my ps5 just a little so the wires didn't have pressure on them. But I actually love the way it looks.

I bought the Horizontal stand, but I bought mine on Amazon.. I highly prefer it to the official stand.. I just got so sick of the system popping off the official stand every single time I moved the system even a little.. To each his own on how it looks, but I am personally very glad I bought it lol.. There's heaps of great gear available, it's not particularly cheap but fairly high quality. I'm currently decking out my new PS5 and purchased a controller dock from Elecgear through Amazon which works fine, the PS4 DOBE controller dock on the other hand is garbage that discharged both controllers!

The horizontal stand I bought has rubber studs on all four corners so it will not slide and will not move it very sturdy I have had no problem with it unplugging cords and plugging and cords it and I don't have to put my hand on the PlayStation when I take it off or put it in super powerful grip! I'm very happy with it!

Honestly though, the large stand seems kinda neat. I dont think I have much use for the fans at the bottom, and I would prefer another way to charge the controllers, but the idea of "one plate for everything" seems cool. Does anyone have a good link to another, better, one of those plates?

I actually started having issues with overheating despite being pretty obsessive about keeping my PS5 clean; that aftermarket exhaust fan while increasing the running sound, has LITERALLY resolved the overheating issues. Given that it’s on the back it’s not as noticeable as one may think either. Thanks for the reviews though, Ryan.

I think it’s wise to use compressed air, either by can or air compressor to really blow out the dust bunnies from the heatSinks. Just doing the fan or keeping the shell clean isn’t enough, imho

That stand is pretty good. The one it comes with is absolutely feeble and a danger if your ps5 is in a stacking shelf it might easily slip off if you're changing a lead. tbh apart from the ssd sony have made an absolute hash of this generation.

The only good thing was the sticker for the glossy part of the PS5. Huge Batman fan so I ordered a yellow one and I already had the black plates for the sides. Threw a few Batman stickers on it and it looks amazing now.

The horizontal stand I bought is super tight does not move when I'm unplugging or plugging in a cord it's got the non-slip stubs that grip on the any surface and it keeps the PlayStation from sliding around and moving on any surface

A year ago I had got that rubber cover for my controllers, which also came with rubber analog stick grips. I barely used the rubber analog sticks but I use the rubber covers. I wish I kept it on because I did mess up my controller on the back a little (Got a light scratch on the handle of the controller and I didn't notice the symbols on the back were easy to mess up if on a hard/metal/open wood surface). Thinking bout getting something like a mouse pad to sit my controllers on when I don't want the rubber cover on it🤔. Also, I got the dust cover for the console and a repair tool kit (screwdrivers, tweezer, opening pick, cleaning brush, etc.) like 2 wks ago, still need to try it out though. Got all this on Amazon and I was looking at that multifunctional cooling stand a while back ago and I chose not to get it. But yeah wish does take a long time to deliver things. I remember ordering a couple things on there and it took forever.

A few small dots of adhesive putty on the factory stand will keep your PS5 from ever jiggling when horizontal. I can put my ps5 into a backpack with the original stand attached in horizontal position and it won’t budget during transport. Works great and that puddy is useful for so many other things

I have one of those dust covers and I love it. I've got 4 dogs and their hair gets EVERYWHERE. So when my PS5 is not in use it gets the cover and I don't have to worry about dog hair accumulating in there.

The attachment fan has helped our horizontal setup! We have a tight space for our PS, I NEEDED better air flow around the system. It helps pull the cool air from the front and hot air out of the system. Tested with a digital thermometer and worth it.

Take those sticky grips off the controller asap. After a while the heat and sweat from your hands makes the glue gooey and makes it an utter nightmare to remove, trust me I spent hours trying to remove the glue residue from my PS4 controller, even IPA struggled removing it! You got lucky they self peeled off with glue lining intact lol

The problem wit that last item is the games are on the wrong side. They should be on the other side so you can see the front covers and see the spines because as it stands, there is no way to see which games are behind Demon Souls when you want to select them. At least if you can see the spines you don't have to keep pulling out random games to see what they are.

Dobe has a similar to original charging base for the dualsense, uses the same charging pins at the bottom. Dobe TP5-0515R. Edit: I like dobe accessories, I've use the ps4 charging dock and their actual controller works fine. Even the switch grip controller with bag.

Hi Ryan, there is some stick on grips by Lizard Skins that I bought. I think they are great. Have been on one of my controllers for a few months now. No lifting of the adhesive, no wear or stretching. I did buy them on special for nearly 30 AUD. They are more expensive than that as regular pirce tho. That is their only downfall

main reason for mine , ps5 dust cover , is to keep dust from getting into the disk loader slot . since all the playstations i have had got dust in the disk loading slot , and did not want to take in the games when trying to put them in or watching a movies .and im not buying a new disk drive for my console when nothing was wrong with it besideds the disk slot loader.

I’d have to disagree with the cooling base. I got one on Amazon that’s different than this one but it’s been really useful. My remote and controllers and headset have a storing spot and are always charged and the extra usb slots are helpful especially with wired headsets that have LED’s. I mostly appreciate the storage and always charged aspect of it. Mine doesn’t have a slot for games which is fine since I have towers for them. I kind of want the back fans showed in this video because of the LED haha I have LED strips on the inside of my PS5 so it would add to the aesthetic.

Check out this horizontal Stand from Ipega! I got this when I got my PS5! I don't have a lot of room and the stand that came with the PS5 was not good! Too much play and plugging in and unplug my cord made my PS5 move or shift so I got this horizontal scan and have have no problems ever since! It's very sturdy and will not move when plugging in a cord or removing a cord! And comes with 1 USB 2.0 Transmission port and 3 USB charging port! I would rather have them and not use them ! Then need them and not have them! I thought I would give you a few more choices and let you decide!

I still haven't seen or touched a ps5 in person yet. 2 years in...it's almost, almost, as if the ps5 and 4/ Xbox one and s/x traded places, being in that both the ps4 and one still have years of life left and they aren't going anywhere for years,still. Proving that generations are over. There is no cutoff point anymore. The ps5 will still be getting bought and used in 10+ years from now.
