Always fun to watch these. Miss the Killzone series. KZ2 & 3 came out when I was in the military, and all of us in the barracks would squad up or against each other and play til all hours of the morning....Great memories. I remember being hyped for ShadowFall with my new PS4, and while it was decent, it was definitely a bit of a letdown to me. Hope they'll bring the series back someday sooon. Thanks Ryan!

Love these videos. Funnily enough, I actually got my Killzone SF platinum about 2 years ago. It was without a doubt one of the most laborious and mind-numbing trophies I’ve ever went after. And it’s due to it being an online requirement. Good thing about Killzone is that you can use bots….mostly. Online trophies/achievements are the devil 👹 and I kick myself for it.

I got so burned out during the base game of killzone shadow fall, I have yet to even touch any dlc ones, but now It is too late I believe unless I can do it with bots. Fun platinum to do BEFORE you start the multiplayer ones. As fortunate it is, that most of it can be done with bots - its a killing grind. Glad you chose to finish it after all, Mystic!

Since Sony seems to have started recommending more "affordable" trophies midway through the PS4's life, I hope they start to recommend putting online trophies as separate lists/DLC (sort of like Sucker Punch did with Ghost Legends, despite that actually being DLC). Unfortunately not all companies will do like Monolith who removed the online trophies via an update before closing Shadow Of Mordor's servers

I was just going to pick up Shadow Fall as I wanted to get the platinum. Luckily I didn't as a friend told me the multiplayer servers had closed. Onrush servers by the way will close on November 30th. It's the 2018 car game from the makers of Drive Club and it also has some online trophies.

The Shadowfall grind for the Plat was significant but I remember Killzone 2 being harder, also the joyful sound cue of a kill in Killzone games is the best, I will never get Mercenaries platinum and it will always hunt me that I changed account on the jump from PS3 to PS4 and my Killzone 2 and 3 Plats where left in that account

great video. got the Killzone SF platinum when the game came out. someone made a match on that night map and somehow both teams knew what they wanted. stod in the middle of the map and then one team would activate the drones and kill us, and then we would do the same. took a long time getting all those upgrades. but I liked the multiplayer in this game. I wanna see those Playstation multiplayer games. it's October and no Showcase

I decided to try to platinum driver San Francisco for the ps3, so I checked online what trophies there were and the problem was there were multiplayer trophies connected to the platinum. And it turns out the servers for the multiplayer was offline, online trophies shouldn’t be connected to the platinum because many people in the future will try to platinum their old game but there are online trophies in which the servers are offline.

Going onwards I always start with the online trophies to not end up in this situation. It's a pain and it's dumb but for example Uncharted 3 has just two trophies or something that should be easy to get in just entering multiplayer and playing for less than half an hour but now that it's shut down I can't do it. That's especially annoying since I've recently started picking up lots of old PS3 games for less than $10.

Killzone Mercenary was the one game that i was so excited to get on my PSVITA. I bought the PSVITA a year after launch and when the beta of Killzone eventually came out, i was so excited and downloaded it right away. I remember going to my grandparents and playing it every weekend on my PSVITA (as we didnt have reliable internet at the time) while listening to Freestyle Friday #9 and just enjoying my time. It brings back so many memories when i see people play it, and it’s a shame that it’s at the end of it’s life. R.I.P to one of the best FPS PSVITA games that I ever played. 🥺

Unrelated, but I used to play guitar hero live, I was at 1 trophy left, just 1 million strums on the live part, I was chipping away at it, got to around 600k strums. Then I got bored, stopped playing and forgot the game for years. When I eventually wanted to play it again my save have corrupted. All that progress lost. I was mad. Another 2 years pass and just last week I try it again, thinking fuck it, just go for the very last trophy. The platinum is at 0.01% players I thought yeh I want to be apart of that. Then I see the live section has been offline for ages. No way to get the 1 million strums. Bit salty about it tbh.

Pretty sure we crossed paths on Mercenary at least once. I wasn’t even going to touch it as I had a weekish and never even touched the game…ended up going from no trophies on the games to getting all online trophies for both, including the standalone trophies. I’ll go back for the plats on both at some point so I can have plat for the entire series!

Another crazy person like myself who decided to do this. By some weird twist of fate I had actually started the Shadow Fall stuff a few weeks before BUT I didn't know about the magic rock. Fortunately I was able to secure the 100% for shadowfall and Plat Mercenary. Ch. 5 in Mercenary can go F itself...I reached a point where I was just repeating the dialogue verbatim over and over.

The Killzone games shutting down alongside Splinter Cell Blacklist, Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Driver San Francisco, Overwatch 1 (none of us knew what would happen to the trophy list for 1 once 2 launched), Army of Two: The 40th Day, Mercenaries 2, and making myself do Far Cry 2 this year have really drained me. I still love trophy hunting but this year has been insane for mp server shutdowns. I may do Babylon’s Fall before it shuts down. Why do I do this to myself? 🤣🤣

Only ubsoft game I got done was assassin's Creed Revelations brotherhood was a pain with trouble connecting to my boosting partner's but I didn't make it in time I was only like 16 before shut down splinter cell just wasn't working for me both copy's I bought the button's just wouldn't work at all driver I never got around to doing it Shame because I wanted to ghost recon eh that is too long and would probably eat up a lot of time I actually managed to get the OW1 platnum 😊

I did something similar with the AC series mainly with Brotherhood, Revelation,3, and some other UBI games(Driver and Sprinter cell) It was... Kinda pain but I played it with friends so it wasn't that big of a deal
