This is unbelievable!!! I did a calculation of all the sealed boxes & booster packs. Approx 850K, I hope the remaining items were worth more than 150K.

Yea I calculated about 950,000 assuming that there were 5 southern islands sealed binders. I really hope he got atleast 100,00-200,000K in extra value or this store just sold for market value of exactly 1,000,000. Not to shoot down the parade but I’m thinking you gotta pull some type of discount when you have a middle man and you’re spending this type of money.

I sold a mint condition holographic Charizard I pulled out of a "ex" pack I got when I was a child on eBay for $7. It sold in under 30 seconds. Mint condition too, it went right from the pack to the case and was never touched/played. I then saw them selling for much more than my $7 sale. The highest was recorded at just over $21,000 about 10 years later.

So amazing to see all those boxes lined up. I'll never forget cracking two skyridge and aquapolis boxes with my buddy back in 2003 great times. The crazy thing is these guys got these boxes but also theme decks etc. In reality this collection was worth a fair amount more than $1 million dollars!

​@BadVibesForever966 yeah it's gotten annoying watching people that jumped on the hype train that don't really know pokemon, how to pronounce names, know who characters are, or anything about the actual hobby. They always equate getting something to money, amd not ohh this is one of my favorite pokemon or something. Just money money money. Glad I got out of the hobby when I did, got ruined by "investors" and hype men. I used to play in tournaments, watch the show religiously, owned a bunch of cards and figures and just decoration stuff, tons of vhs and all sorts of pokemon stuff cuz I actually loved the hobby itself. Untold hours on every generation from 1 up to recent. Sucks watching something you truly love be ruined by people that only care about the monetary value while getting to do insane things you can only dream of. And I make pretty damn good money, but I'll never get to experience something even remotely close to this.
