I always say that if Niantic says "increase shiny rates". I always just assume that it's just -1 of whatever that shiny pokemon is. Unless it's CD, a specific raid day, or that thing where you can spin spot an encounter 1 feature Pokemon. So I'm never disappointed 😂😂

This mega rayquaza raid day sucked for me, won about 5 of 11 raids attempted due to people quitting just before the start, crashing or giving up half way. Barely gathered up the energy for one mega and almost all of my rayquaza had 11/11/12 ivs aside from one 15/15/12. My luck was abysmal xD At the very least i got the mega, which is all i really wanted in the first place, but jeeze i have never felt so irritated. On the other hand though, i started adventure week with a shiny kabuto, aerodactyl and timburr, so i would say those make up for the rough luck today :D

Not gonna lie, I thought this was a Rayquaza raid hour video at first before remembering the Necrozma thing (and time zones meaning it probably wouldn't be feasible to have it out this early). As for the XP from Adventure Week... I suppose banking it wouldn't hurt, but I literally cannot get my next level until August 26 thanks to the "25km in a week 8 times" requirement for level 48, and heaven knows when I'll get the 50 lucky trades for level 49.

What they should have done wirh shiny ray is if you battle it one time. Its a 1/20. Fhen if you battle it a second time its a 1/19 and so forth til you get the shiny, then it resets

you will get a research BASED on the catch card you would have gotten. No one is getting 20 researches because they did 20 raids. This is something like 1 research per 20 raids you did remotely. ie, 5% chance on the card appearing.

It says could, not would. Could means you could have gotten astronomically lucky, and gotten every single one with a catch card. Would actually wouldn’t even apply because there is no “what’s supposed to happen” with statistics. I think they wanted to do what you said, but they can’t because that’s not how they worded it, if they want to honor their word.

Fractured my ankle on the 30th and still managed to drive to the nearby park and be there for 4 hours just to use 3 raid passes for Rayquaza and only get a shiny Vulpix 1 star😢 Edit: 10,15,15 was the best I got from those 3 but I already had one with 13,15,15 from when mega Rayquaza first released... Still no shinies after catching a total of 23.

Mega Rayquaza raid day is the best make up day for Mega Rayquaza elite raid rather than Mega Rayquaza special raid day. Additional 5 free raid pass and increased shiny odds after the raid was done.

Are you sure that you were actually affected by the past glitches? Every time I was affected by a glitch that happened, they fixed it, no issue. Sometimes they are a bit vague on the details, like with this glitch, I don’t think Mystic7 realized that they would only compensate REMOTE raids instead of ALL raids, as non-remote raids were unaffected, but even if they actually did not compensate you, you should definitely be good this time.

This adventure week event sucks. So the spawns all suck and the “boosted shinies” don’t seem boosted at all. Why did they have to change an event that was always fun. I’d rather catch 100 not shiny fossil Pokémon than hatch 20 not shiny fossil Pokémon.
