Update!!! Over 100 km walked. Over a hundred eggs hatched. Boosted shinies = “1”😅. Larvesta = “1”. 😊 I think somebody forgot to tell the 2/5/10 km eggs that they were boosted this week. 😬

Event ended for me, so no shiny at all during the entire event. The ONLY good things I got were 1 Larvesta, a 14/14/14 Riolu and a hundo Yungoos lmao. Pretty much everything else was 2 star garbage, which I transferred. Almost everything was junk that can't even be shiny. SO many Chingling, Wimpod, Togedemaru etc...

Not gonna lie, the animation of the eggs in the thumbnail gives me an idea! If you have a 100 day streak, you should receive a “shiny capable only” egg, and it have a pool of incredibly rare shinies and common shinies…

I feel like Niantic (or Pokemon Company) made the Larvesta so hard to hatch because they were tired of producing new content, trying to make it at least somewhat available to new players, and then having tons of players be able to get the new pokemon and all its forms within a couple days. What this does is leave the players who are able to get those pokemon so fast then left bored and awaiting the next update of content. They can only output it so fast, and if it just gets sucked dry like that then there is less longevity to the game. So they make Larvesta insanely difficult to hatch from eggs, and take 400 candy to evolve. And, of course, there are STILL people who got Volcarona on day 1 of the event!

The game is becoming more of a money grab as time goes by and with some of their recent decisions they've lost alot of money, I've stopped doing raids entirely after doing them for years and it sucks but I refuse to spend £5 to do 3 remote raids and now changing the Larvesta event last minute going from in eggs to if you're very lucky.
