Love u, sir. U don't know how important this video is for my Ender 3v2

Very well done. Just dusted off my v2 and started printing again today after a year. I've only let it print overnight like once or twice but it always keeps me up knowing the risks. I plan on doing these upgrades. For now if I have print late at night I just use the pause button and let it cool down and pick it up in the morning.

can you show me what a long pause can do to a print?

Great video! In English, we would use the term "Scraper." A Spatula in English is used for the kitchen implement you would use to flip a fried egg.
@backgammonbacon2 жыл бұрын
A spatula is a broad, flat, flexible blade used to mix, spread and lift material including foods, drugs, plaster and paints. In England not everyone is an expert in their own language and the meanings of its words, they also can't be bothered to check such simple stuff before posting "advice".

@@backgammonbacon Igor said in the video that he wasn't sure how to say it in English, so I answered him. I stand by my answer. Take google images as an example of what the typical image for a "Spatula" is, then search google images for a "Scraper" and see. I wasn't correcting Igor's English, but rather answering his question.

To the mainboard fan: There are also ferrules avaliable where you can put two cables in one, might be useful here
@MyTechFun2 жыл бұрын
Hm, yes, probably I could place 2 wires from fan into one ferrule and crimp it.

@15:52 : You have a recirculation of heat now. A diverter to flow the exhaust away from intake is preferable.

Excellent video with great tips! Another one to add would be the cut out center bar that the wire run across. There's a piece you can print from Thingiverse to cover the sharp metal edges so it doesn't ever cut into your wiring harness. Also, the PSU cover can be modified like you did (and like I was originally planning to do) or you can print a small cover that just covers the wires at the bottom. You can't see the cover is missing from the top. Very nice video though and this should be pointed out to everyone who is just getting started. Flex beds are the best!

i completely removed the black cover of the PSU and designed and built in PETG a cover for the 220v wires and IEC connector. I also reduced PSU fan speed with miniature DC-DC step down buck to drive it at 12-15V to make more silent.

I removed Creality's cover from the PSU completely, and am currently in the middle of printing a replacement that has vents. This is the only thing I've printed with the cover off, but so far, the fan has been on for only a fraction of the time it was before. I also printed some feet/risers for the bottom of the printer, so that it's around 20mm higher off the table than it was before. I'm hoping that will let more air get to the underside of the printer and take the strain off the fans.

Hi Igor. Thank you for making and sharing your videos. Also, you do know when doing the shrink wrap on the wires you can heat the shrink wrap with the shaft of your soldering iron. You dont need to you a lighter. Just in case you didnt know this.

Yes, I noticed that in recently watched videos. Thx

great video. My prints really adhere strongly to the glass bed on my ender 3 v2 sometimes.

I'd be very interested to see a comparison between the original springs of the Ender 3 v2, the yellow springs of the Ender 3 v2 NEO and the actual upgrade yellow springs in this video.
