You should try fixing the car and putting it in a parking space with cars around it and show us how to pull it out of a space with cars around it in a open area anybody and grab it

The block should not be attached to the same vehicle. A separate anchor point is what multiplies the working limit. In this scenario a choker should be used around a parking Ballard and then connected to the block. This video shows a winch working 1:1. Not 2:1. Since the load is being pulled and redirected on the same platform this is simply a pogo stick or redirect.

i wouldn’t use the aluminum decks for heavy snatching but for this application it’s ok. We only buy steel decks bc we do a lot of recovery and accidents and the chain pockets are stronger. We carry 2 snatch blocks per truck,75 ft of cable and 100ft of chain just in case.
