Great example! Most focus on musical sounds, but this better demonstrates just how madly creative you can be with any sound using Myth and its newer resynthesis algorithm.

Dawesome make some wonderful synths. I’m glad to see you playing with this one. Fun sample too.

there are 2 resynthesis method, this resynthesis method is added. the first resynthesis method is now called the classic resynthesis, which gave some discussion..... personally; i could and get still wild with the Classic Resynthesis method.... it is still great and unique.... the new Resynthesis method is also available as stereo, then each Iris loads a channel. (normally from a stereo file, the left channel is taken...)

@@exposada ah I'm glad the old algorithm is still present, I made some of the factory presets and I totally agree that it's unique and useful, just a little less predictable. Thanks for the information on the stereo re-synthesis, that's particularly interesting! I have updated but not yet had time to explore.

Interesting video. I even like the V1 Resynthesis. With the right samples and some module mangling it can produce quite convincing results. V2 Resynthesis obviously plays in a tier of its own - it's far superior, needs to include the sample data in the patch file, though (V1 Resynthesis merely includes overtone envelopes, leading to much slimmer preset files). I enjoyed Myth from day 1.

I found the v1 resynthesis terrible but with this update Myth has become a serious tool for music production and sound design.

@@SimonStockhausen1967 Somehow some of the best synthesizer and music software seems to always originate in Germany. Steinberg, NI, U-he, Waldorf, … , Dawesome. (Not forgetting France haha)

looking forward to more examples from you :) very nice new resynthesis algo indeed from what i’ve been hearing so far. v1 however was junk, imo.

I agree that version 1 was very disappointing but the developer obviously listened.
