not necessarily, there are a bunch of stunts where people dive from 50-60 feet into 18 in of water. if you land right you can survive. its still definitely fake though. that pool would have been destroyed. i had one of those and if you slosh around too much the pool rolls and dumps all the water.

No it's not - It's a technicality - watching it again, the narrator didn't even say 'on YT' - he just said 'over 4M hits' so that could include other sites too. Yeah, I know, that makes it sound intentionally vague, but I'm sure they had some basis for that figure as Mythbusters are usually pretty good, well researched generally, as you'd expect! BTW There are often multiple videos of such viral videos or what not as actually, that is essentially the very definition of a viral video!

Actually 2 months after your comment, and it's over 3M views AND if you tally all the other copies uploaded of it on YT, many of which tally about a 100k views each, then you not only reach the 4M mark, but probably exceed, especially if you also include uploads of it on OTHER video sites aswell! Have no idea which is the ORIGINAL upload either or where it was uploaded.

Everytime I see this I get really really proud. My dad was one if the creatives working on the slide video and the others with "Bruno Kammerl" who "slides" down the slide. I was bragging to everyone at school who would listen to me when this Mythbusters episode was shown in Germany 😁
