In the 2010 film "TROLLHUNTER" there are only four types of Trolls included the "Tusseladd Troll", the "Ringlefant Troll", the "Dovregubben Troll" and the "Jötunn Trolls".

Trollolo XD "One day, I ride up and what do I see? A bridge. And under that bridge sits a troll and demands every passerby pays him. Those who refuse have a leg injured, sometimes both. So I go to the alderman: 'How much will you give me for that troll?' He's amazed. 'What are you talking about?' he asks, 'Who will repair the bridge if the troll's not there? He repairs it regularly with the sweat of his brow, solid work, first rate. It's cheaper to pay his toll.'" - Geralt of Rivia, on finding lack of work over time. "The Last Wish"

Some of the larger trolls included in Old norse and early Christian myths were wild like an animal but in possession of a kind of low cunning and often forms of magic like, like being able to change shape. Some got together and threw large stones at Christian churches as a kind of game.

My grandfather saw a troll in 1980s in Cloverdale Indiana. The one he saw hung down from a tree with a long nose and pointy ears and bad breath it smiled at him also got right up in his face as he was trying to piss behind a tree. My grandmother said it took him several hours to calm down before he told her what happen. He served in Vietnam not much scared him.

What does a troll do during COVID lockdown? He wears a protective mask when in public. He buys a satellite smartphone, and learns how to take selfies. He buys a satellite laptop for $999.99 at Best Buy plus 3 years of Geek Squad. He creates a Google account and Gmail address. He discovers KZbin, and the entire world is now his oyster. He is thrilled when he finds GrimDark Narrator uploaded a video about him. He seldom charges a financial fee for people to safely cross his bridge. Instead, he demands their Facebook name, email address, and KZbin name. Now he trolls people on KZbin, sends selfies to their Facebook, and sends countless scams to their email.

Internet trolls have nothing to do with mythological trolls. "Trolling" is a fishing technique where you drag a fishing line through the water to see what bites. Trolling on the internet meant posting something controversial to a bbs or forum to see what "bites" you would get.
