I have "pet" chickens, they definitely show emotional range, but it's more of the difference between being content vs being stressed. They also are intelligent, one day I didn't realize their water was empty and the alpha hen grabbed my clothing with her beak and tried to pull me to the coop when I was walking away, she was trying to show me they needed water. I was really impressed and that changed how I saw them even after years of already having them.

Saaaammmmmme. Our chickens when they were alive were pretty tame. There was always 1 little chicken that guarded the eggs and others just free roamed. Seeing Josh take a shot of maple syrup unlocked a memory for me, last time my mother in law moved my brother in law and I were the only ones moving her. In August. In Kentucky. In 100 degree weather. For 9 hours straight. With nothing to eat. Only water to drink. I started having sporadic black outs. Thinking maybe my blood sugar was bottomed out I started sifting through the groceries she had already set up at her new place. Which I found a bottle of pancake syrup and proceeded to chug the majority of it. Honestly it made me feel amazing. Life is weird sometimes. 😂

Just gotta say, I didn't really watch mythical kitchen content till I saw Fluffy on last meals, even though I see you guy making food on MM. Now I'm watching your content consistently and really appreciate your show and love it. I guess I'd like to know who came up with the last meals idea. I bet you don't answer but I'm glad it happened!

I think I'd prefer the Erewhon bacon, but then I'm not a fan of it being too crispy. Their attempt at American cheese looked like a failure though. Reckon if you want good cheese in it gotta grate it to make it melt. I think I'm most impressed by Josh cooking both dishes at once!

Eggs naturally come in lots of colors, like other comments said... but more importantly chickens are ABSOLUTELY capable of having emotions. Just look up chickens and favorite humans, or friends and you'll see lots of sweet videos.

My suggestion would be a Farmer's Market vs an Organic Market. I'm sure you must have one or two of each of them. I try to go to one of the farmer's markets around me once a week. It a great place to get fresh ingrediency but I always wonder if it is a better deal.

Is Anavrin in "You" based on Erewhon IRL? If you flip the w and h, they even have the same sorta backwards spelling naming. "Nirvana" vs "Nowhere".

Speaking of Serge Tankian I remember meeting him in New Zealand in the small he lived in, I knew the band, had no idea who he was. Not sure if he's still living there as I got a random real estate ad on facebook from that town for a massive house that seemed to have a different piano or drumset in every photo.

FOURTEEN... *chokes* FOURTEEN DOLLAR EGGS?!?! It's $1 or less here in Kentucky (except during eggfaltion, it went up close to $5 which was INSANE). ALSO, I started cracking my eggs on a flat surface because of How to Drink on KZbin, and it honestly is better.
