Pro chef Saúl Montiel from Cantina Rooftop and home cook Gina are swapping recipes and hitting the kitchen to make tacos. We provided Gina with all the ingredients necessary to make chef Saúl’s gourmet $396 quesadilla recipe, sending only $20 worth of your typical, store-bought stuff back the other way. I've tried so hard with Kimchi. It's just far too funky for me. I like Marmite, anchovy paste, fish sauce, Miso, yogurt, and every once in a blue moon, a little sauerkraut on a Reuben or a Hebrew National hot dog, but I just can't develop a taste for kimchi, and it seems to be going into everything these days. It reminds me of Southern "Chow Chow," which I also don't like. I can't figure out if I've tried the wrong kinds, or if it's one of those things my taste buds simply do not enjoy.
