I've tried so hard with Kimchi. It's just far too funky for me. I like Marmite, anchovy paste, fish sauce, Miso, yogurt, and every once in a blue moon, a little sauerkraut on a Reuben or a Hebrew National hot dog, but I just can't develop a taste for kimchi, and it seems to be going into everything these days. It reminds me of Southern "Chow Chow," which I also don't like. I can't figure out if I've tried the wrong kinds, or if it's one of those things my taste buds simply do not enjoy.

I would like this series a lot more if they'd stop fudging the prices so much. Listing the cost of things like individual eggs for the "cheap" versions of stuff but then listing the price of an entire container for the expensive versions just to make the difference bigger is just lame. Like there is no way you bought that bottle of soy sauce for 1.49. It's a solid 3 dollars or more basically everywhere. But then they buy $90 worth of an ingredient that they will use one tablespoon of just so the expensive version can be more ridiculous.
@ZCSilver9 ай бұрын
This is my big complaint too. Like $12 just for the oranges!?
@OriginalElysian9 ай бұрын
I know it's for the clicks but it still kind of bothers me that they use the ingredient prices per portion for the cheap one and the price of the whole thing for the expensive one. There has to be a better way to do this. On another note, I really like Gina's energy! Looking forward to more episodes with her!
