To bad it was a lie cause when 3 dlc came out they said rex is bad ass now because he is an adult so now people wanna love him now but you couldn't love him as a kid imagine that rex was cool with me even as a kid he has courage I don't think the actor who played him did a terrible job he stood up for the ones he cared bout especially pyra rex reminds me alot of shulk shulk never stopped trying to find fiora even tho he thought she was dead but nope she was alive the whole time his love for her is what drew him back to fiora

The thing I love about Rex is they introduced him as a kid who lives on his own, but also sends some of the money he makes as a salvager to his family. His energy in the beginning of the game isn’t him doing this because he’s told to, but he chooses to do it because he’s grateful…. He gets 100,000 dollars and sends 90 of it back home immediately…. I instantly was a massive Rex fan 15 minutes into the first game. The dude just keeps growing on you as he got put into this absurd situation for a teenager to be in, but always rises to the occasion.

It's a problem with the voice direction, not the voice acting. There are plenty of moments with Rex where you get some great voice acting. A lot of the VA's weren't given much context for their scenes.
