@@reactsgamergirls While I appreciate the sentiment, 99% of people who will watch this video are Xeno fans wanting to relive the emotions through other people's reactions. Xenoblade are story focused games, I definitely wouldn't watch people's reactions to story specific cutscenes of a game I haven't played

I confess that when I was asked for this scene from chapter 6, I imagined the audience might not understand why the tears during the reunion with Mio, until I went back and reviewed chapter 5: the imprisonment, Mobius' plan to sacrifice during the homecoming eclipse, and how she opened up to Noah, leading up to Z and continuing from there until Mobius finds out who dies. I thought the video would be more complete if I included those parts to explain to an audience that hadn't seen the game, but I understand your point about emotionally connecting to a game you've played and its story. I hope you enjoyed the editing, and thank you for your insight about Xenoblade players.

My housemate and I were playing this game, and I reached this point before her. Mio was her favourite of the Ouroboros, so I knew that this sequence of events was going to be rough on her. Without wanting to spoil anything to her, when she reached Agnus Castle, all I said to her was that she should brace herself. At the time, she thought I meant there was a difficult boss fight coming up.

She was very adamant about not wanting spoilers, and it was never my intent to give her any regardless, but this part warranted at least some kind of a warning. She started with Xenoblade 2, and it's her favourite game of the series. She even named her first cat after Pyra.

As for her cat, Pyra is around 5 years old, now. Pyra is completely devoted to her mama; gets separation anxiety in the rare times my housemate leaves for extended periods.

I've been a gamer since the OG Nintendo/Sega Genesis days and it had been a long LONG time since a game really moved me, to my core. XC3 will forever hold a special place in my heart for coming completely out of nowhere (for me) and being the one to do it after more than 15 years. Bless this game.

While a big mashup reaction sounds interesting, I prefer showcasing individual reactions to maintain the emotional flow and context. Even with 7 or 8 girls, I ensure a maximum of 6 are on screen at the same time, alternating if needed. I hope you continue to enjoy the videos!

What I really love about this twist is it’s foreshadowed excellently when you face M M starts crying which you consider odd but you the player likely knew the twist somehow M and N were Mio and Noah, and she seemed more sympathetic compared to N. But it also plays a unique track for her battle only, being the Moebius theme but with offseer flutes, that’s such a big foreshadow to tell you that’s Mio not M. and you can tell further when listening the Flutes are trying its best to match the rhythm of the song, getting better as it goes on but they stop completely when the big laughing section pops up which shows they don’t enjoy pain and suffering like some of the moebius you’ve encountered so far

While editing the video, I felt the need to go back to the beginning of chapter 5 to explain the homecoming and try to understand why Mio took so long to open up to Noah. It was brilliant when she reveals she is Mobius' Mio in chapter 6. I had a hard time understanding when she said, "I made my peace," which had been a secret all along, including when she smiles at being sacrificed. She did it all for Mobius. It's heartbreaking that he went insane... Is that the definition of karma? He wished for the "Eternal Now" and ended up sacrificing his girl without knowing it. Your observations about the flute add even more to this dramatic twist, and I thank you for your detailed analysis. The depth of storytelling and musical cues in Xenoblade 3 truly enhance the emotional impact of these scenes. 💖✨

Having played through the game twice now, I can confidently say, this was about as perfect a plot twist as you can get, because all of the pieces are setup if you’re really paying attention. Even knowing how chapter 5 is going to turn out still doesn’t stop tears from going..
