I just started needle felting, found you thrgh this video. I love that your do's and don'ts are so practical. I also super appreciate, as a blind felter, that you talk through so much of what you're doing while you do it. So many people depend on just showing their work and don't narrate their actions. So thank you for making videos I can get information from. And lastly, you have such a soothing wonderful voice; I need a third hand so I can drink my tea while I felt, because I'd then be at pique contenment. Thank you for this channel!

I developed tremors and had a flare up during a project. First big shake that needle went through my thumb nail an the top of the pad... Man that bugger hurt for a week. I now have a service dog that can earn me before a flare up and now only stab myself a dozen or more times per project. That's right folks, needle felting is a blood sport when I do it 😅

Aw thank you for your lovely comments. Can I check I understand correctly, so do you mean that you would like to know how to needle felt a gradual change in colour, through say 2 or 3 similar colours? Also is this for a 3D project or 2D? Only I am planning to create a 2D picture sometime soon which I could cover this in, if that would be helpful? Or were you thinking of fur on a three dimensional animal? Thanks for watching.
@baroebak6122

@Julie's Felted Friends No problem! For the amount of colours, maybe 3? And if it doesn't trouble you that much, a 2D project would be easier to understand (hopefully) for beginners. Though this is entirely your choice on the dimensions of the project!

Round 3: You don't eat the wool and even if you did, it doesn't come from a dead sheep. My point is that shearing is detrimental to the good health of the animal. I've been raising sheep for over 30 years, needle felting since the 90's and own a wool mill.

Personally I don't have a problem with wool, I'm not vegan myself, but I accept that some vegans would not use sheep's wool as they are against the use of animals for clothing or any purpose, even though, as you say, it comes from live sheep. Thanks for watching
