I had a bad experience on psychedelic mushrooms and ended up admitting myself in the er , then voluntarily went to a 72 hour hold to avoid a possible 51/50 They got me for “ suicidal ideation no self mutilation “at the er because of the things I said while under panic because of the drug . I don’t remember much of the experience tbh This was a 1 time thing No history I’d psych meds my entire life aside from the 1 pill I took at the inpatient care I’ve held jobs well in the past and even after the incident , I plan on getting letters of recommendations from employers What do you think my chances are ? Does the army/national guard even waiver or get waivers passed often with situations like mine Also my criminal history is pretty clean , no felonies and just a few traffic citations here and there .

I’d have to see everything specifically, but yes, you definitely have a possibility of a waiver to be able to get in

You cannot join with a warrant no. If you get it cleared up and still have gun rights depending on what the offense is, you might be eligible for or you might not even need a waiver.

@@TeamWillBob it was for a dui my friend has no felony’s and only 1 simple assault but not against family or female other then that he has never been in trouble

My shop lifting and a&b 3rd degree was dispose but I have to pay 2,000 to the court and my battery and trespassing case is closed completely had one dui and I pay those tickets I have 2 driving under suspension tickets that are 650 a piece and one misdemeanor harassment charge for 500 will that stop me from enlisting?

Family violence as a juvenile and burglary habitation with commit to assault but was dismissed to a trespassing charge-adult /both of these charges were misdemeanor I do have gun rights any hope

I’m talking to a recruiter I have reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and falsifying evidence I’m talking to a recruiter right now but I’m not sure if he’s gassing me up, I saw the comments regarding gun rights wich worries me because he told me it’s just a 24month wait after date of conviction I’d appreciate your opinion on the situation👍

It depends on the situation, and we always ask sooner than the timeframe just in case But you must have gun rights

Okay so say I have a dwi which was a year ago but I wasn’t driving I was parked in my papas driveway but had the car on listening to music …and another charge I have is controlled substance charge which to be exact was a delta 9 cartridge which was purchased at a vape shop but I had my handgun in my car with me at the time which was in my name all legal but I got charged misdemeanor unlawful carry and that felony charge for that cartridge but the judge told me I shouldn’t of been arrested for it he didn’t see it as arrestable offense he said that if cop wants to pick it up and charge me fully he can but hasn’t so I don’t know if it’s on my record but I’m just being honest …I’m currently finishing school and I have 2 kids …I wanna change my life around and I am committed to join the armed forces no matter how long it takes ..what’s your opinion on my waiver sir?

@@TeamWillBob I scored a 56 on my lines on practice asvab and I had the felony and gun charge dismissed …and dwi is picked up but gonna try and get it handled …but recruiter said he’s gonna do wavers for me and that he will make it work once case is handled imma fill out rest of paper work but it’s all looking good sir just gotta get this dwi case closed and we can proceed in the paper work
