My WOL is a Keeper of the Moon Miqote who worships Menphina. I made an entire backstory for her! She was born to 2 moon miqote parents who were a part of a tribe dedicated to Menphina and helping people find love. Her parents were the last ones to find love and become eternally bonded. My WOL is a very devoted follower and spreads love wherever she goes. So when I saw that Menphina was the final boss of Euphrosyne I nearly cried I was so happy! Getting to walk around with her and Halone was incredible too! I loved this raid series, it was incredible! The FFXIV team should be proud!

This is interesting. I disliked Dawntrails story execution so much I started writing fan fiction for the first time in 30 years of gaming, and I have had an ABSOLUTE blast with it. I too have been Keeper miqo of Menphina for 10 years and its been super fun writing short stories involving NPCs not mentioned in the game itself (like giving names to the NPC vendors you can hire and how they came to work for you, or side stories about WoL with the Squadron members). All this caused me to really REALLY sort out details of my WoL I hadn't thought much about before, and reaffirmed my love for Menphina (and I totally agree! Love her in the Euphrosyne!).

The Twelve have been my favorite part of FFXIV lore since I made my first character back in 2017. I can recite the creation myth from memory. Lol. I am so sad that they are gone now. 🥲 That scene with them each giving their individual blessing to the star before they joined the Lifestream had me ugly crying, and I'm not even embarrassed to admit it.

So, the twelve were people who venat shaped into gods and given purpose in order to help protect the sundered world? Dumb question - does that mean the twelve existed in all the worlds?

Btw i think they have special dialogs if you have them as your deity whrn you pick at the start of the game

Can confirm, I chose Halone when I first started in 2016 and she was the first one I spoke to, she did mention me as a patron of her

Oschon, Lymnlaen, and Thaliak all have a special line for you when they first show up if you're one of theirs as well.
