i love when you said allow the patient to suceed. i have a two year old daughter ive been raising with the most uncomfortable pair of legs. she loves outdoors and running and i cant run. she loves swimming but i have to take my legs off to swim with her and i know that will get embarassing to her soon so i think what you are doing is so cool.

My kids are never embarrassed by me they are embarrassed by the limits the world places on my. My youngest has coined a new word, she wants to know if places are mummycessible. Your daughter will never be embarassed by you she will be your biggest cheerleader and your most devoted fan.

Wait a minute, wait a minute... Did she say she walked right into the pool with her leg on?! You know, I'm not sure I'd want to, but it would definitive nice to know how on earth that's possible! And @Martin Devaney : My muscle-control suspension (yes, I'm weird) RBK with a level 4 Renegade foot, mid-calf pivot plate, and color-matched skin job was a little over USD $20,000 in 2011. Level 5 or some sort of specialized monster leg would be "top of line", but I'm close. Hope that helps.

@Medley haha that was 4 years ago, things have changed quite a bit since then, but looks like I was talked my more about the functionality , not so much the socket .

In america its easy to get a nice prosthesis but if you in Philippine the prosthesis here is not that good there's no sample socket here because all is expensive if you need to fit again you need to pay 500 dollars for socket only and that sucks... I hope there will be good prosthetist here to help us amputees
