One detail i love is the usage of the health bar being johns cross. In the game, as the story goes on, johns cross changes from gold to silver and then bronze. This happens due to john slowly losing his faith. If you achieve the best ending of chapter 3, it returns to gold, showing that his faith has been renewed.

I love the callback from 0:34 being used during the final exorcism, just starting frantically and then dying down as John comes down from the adrenaline rush to focus on the exorcism at hand, ending in a successful exorcism as he puts everything he can into the exorcism, Faith and all. 0:34 both draws the demon possessing Amy, as thats when it shows itself and its possessed host, as well as being the verse that John recites during the final exorcism, heard during 6:23 as he recites the exorcism scripture.

Watch be spout some absolute bogus I love what they did with the cross. It seems to tells a story of sorts. During the first segments with Amy, it's golden. Just as it were in the first chapter, with Johns faith being strong. During Michaels segment, it's silver throughout most of it, as if his faith is starting to dwindle. We can see that during that, he can maintain his faith, but not to the quality he had previously. Then when he soloes, the cross is not showing, which subtly indicates to me that he is afraid, just as he were when he failed the exorcism a year prior to the games events. Then, we have Father Garcia's section, with either his faith or resolve being unyielding to the demons. Either that or he's just built different. Then in the segment vs Michael and Amy, we can see that with the support of Father Garcia, Johns faith starts building back up. When facing off against Amy once more, though he is still shaken by Michael, his resolve and faith grows. During the final moments of the song, we can see that his hope has been rebuilt, stronger than ever. allat 2 say I think the cross healthbar function is a neat part, and I have no idea if they took that into consideration or not Regardless, peak story telling absolute cinema of a song

i can think of a FNF:Corruption style of the story Micheal: Lemon demon (Or current antagonist, first spreader of the corruption) John: BF Amy: GF Garcia: Dearest or Pico (cause strength, or gun) a little different story could be made. BF could be able to keep up with the corruption on GF, and even attempt to save her early. Current antagonist says otherwise, and belittles BF will, causing him to slowly lose. during the solo, BF has his final words before being fully corrupted. Dearest/Pico barges in the room at the nick of time, defending BF to let him get a grip of himself and regain control. Half corrupted still, BF Fights with Dearest/Pico against antagonist and gf Antagonist tries a last ditch effort to attack BF, Dearest/Pico prevents. BF now near if not fully re-cooperated, properly saves GF again. little silly ideas
