I remember hearing Mitch on cklw. The Detroit station AM radio. Mitch's from Warren Michigan. My hometown. He played for us in our festivals that we would have. He is awesome!

Right on cklw. Use to listen to it every night from southern Ohio. We loved that station. The McCoys used to play our festivals. Rick and his brother were from Union City, In only about 10 miles from my hometown. Back then they were the Rick Z Combo.

I saw him at Cobo Hall in Detroit in 1966. It was a "Battle of the Bands" event. He sang Midnight Hour and other hits. It was a great day to be alive! That man can rock!

I hate it when guitarists think they have to play along with the bass like in the beginning of the verse here, there is no guitar there on the original, always irritates me, I tell them too. Good band though, they rock. Great drummer! Nice to see the bass player play the correct line in Money.
