MZTV 1564: "Playing It Safe" is Anything But Safe

Most people think there is safety in numbers but if Scriptural precedent teaches us anything it is that, when the spirit of God moves upon a person, it moves that person away from the masses and into a wilderness. This is where true spiritual growth occurs.
The spirit of God causes one to step out and away from the crowded religious world into a world that, while it may appear at first to be risky and dangerous, is in fact the safest, most blessed place to be. It is of far greater spiritual benefit to suffer with the children of God “outside the camp” than to enjoy the transient pleasures of mass acceptance within.

I remember that day my dear former colleague at work shared a couple of your videos with me. I was an adult Sunday School teacher and Children Pastor in one of the Megachurches in Texas. I knew something was not right about Christian theories. Sometimes, I preached outside of Christian beliefs. I knew that there was something outside of Church belief waiting for me. I had restless days until I got some of your videos. I wept for 3 days and was devastated for 2 weeks because what I used to believe and preach with passion is false. I finally got answers to my questions on the issues bothering me about Christianity. The hole inside of me has been filled. Thanks to Yahweh for using you to deliver us from the web and caprice of churchianity. May God's peace and grace continue to be with you and all members of the body of Christ 🙏❤😊🎉🎉

So good to hear of your experience of God showing you His truth! It seems most of us have to go through the Christian experience first in order to come to a proper appreciation of the truth of God’s plan for humanity. It boils down to one big question about who God is that l like to ask hell defending Christians and to which l never get a decent answer: what possible purpose could God have for bringing billions of people into existence knowing beforehand that they would be rebellious and end up suffering forever? It appears they never want to examine that critical issue.

I have walked out of two churches. First one was after I learned there are two gospels in the New Testament. The next church did understand how to rightly cut the Word of Truth. Then I found the Salvation of All which they didn't believe so I walked out. Never going to Church again only going to scripture.

Amen brother, Amen. I was never much of a joiner. Never found a church in which I felt comfortable. Then it happened. In 2008, I found a Baptist church "that was different". I didn't have to wear a suit. Heck the pastors brother wore Colts jerseys to worship services. Everyone loved everyone. No back biting, no clicks, a place where I could thrive, learn and teach. Then, something else happened. In 2010, God called me and showed me the truth. He showed me how most of what I believed was true, were actually lies from Satan. He opened my eyes to what was really going on in this "perfect church" I had found. Oh ya, they loved everyone... until they missed a few Sundays. Then it was like you never existed. They wanted to save everyone from an eternity in hell, unless they had to go door to door talking to their neighbors about it. I'm not trying to bash anyone. I do still love these people. I'm in contact with some of them still. My only point here is that although I felt safe, I was not. Clinging to lies and insults concerning our Lord and our Father is not a safe place to be. I tried to talk to the leadership about the truth and they wanted nothing to do with it. See, they too are comfortable in the lies. God did reach a few of the members through me but the majority wanted none of it. If you're still in church, get out, flee from it. As Paul said - 1Ti 6:11 & 12 Now you, O man of God, flee from these things: yet pursue righteousness, devoutness, faith, love, with endurance, suffering, and meekness. *12* Contend the ideal contest of the faith. Get hold of eonian life, for which you were called, and you avow the ideal avowal in the sight of many witnesses. I'm sorry this got so long but this message really inspired me. Thank you Martin.

I’ve tried so many churches like I have flavors of tea! I’ve never been allowed to get comfy and fit in anywhere and I’ve finally accepted I was never meant to be because I’m called to this MICRO SMALL ecclesia of the full truth! I’m humbled and I can say with absolute truth that I had NOTHING to do with it! If it was up to me I would have wanted to “fit in” SOMEWHERE….. ANYwhere! Yet, God had already chosen me for my bold position and built me to handle total rejection my whole life. It’s still exhausting at times, but I know we’re almost done! 🙌🏻

As you were reading the account of young David - what really jumped out at me, and I'm clinging to still, is the mental picture of the dry "WADI." First of all in order for David's ammunition to even become available, all the water must be gone, making the stones easily available. If you're called He will call you out, He will separate you from the uncalled or separate the uncalled from you. Not just from the church , a building where people gather, assemble. The church consists of others, people. Uncalled people can be family, loved ones. Secure well paying jobs represent Mammon, and He will call you out from Mammon. Mammon, just another god people put their confidence in. For the uncalled, as Jesus said, they are getting theirs NOW. Meaning not later. The calling out, the often very painful separation of His future celestials from matters terrestrial, is a preparation.

So true. I finally left the church in 2011 but was still going to a home group where l started asking uncomfortable questions. Some people seemed to appreciate my perspective but l was never allowed to explore these truths by the leadership of the group. Eventually l was asked why l didn’t go to church anymore and l said “you wouldn’t want me there because l will rock the boat”. Stopped going after that.
