God's love is patient, never exhausted. I find it ironic, that our best human examples of "patience", are actually a measurement of the supposed endurance of one's patience before it is exhausted Thanks for the Grace, drive by, on Ace's show. Love grace and peace Brother

sensationalism 1. (especially in journalism) the use of exciting or shocking stories or language at the expense of accuracy, in order to provoke public interest or excitement. "media sensationalism” apparently that’s what it means to be a sensationalist and I sure don’t fit as an “ist” or “ism” of any kind, my ass is always humbled to the dust!

Call a monkey a giraffe? What a jerk. Thank God that Eve had some sense. Leave it to you to dig and read between the lines and find this nugget. 🙂 What a great teaching today. We don't hear enough about love... true love. Love is a verb, not a noun. It is something that is shown by our actions, not by our words. God showed (an action word) His love by sending His Son to die for His creation. God truly is Love. Jesus showed (action) His Love by dying for our sakes. Not His sake, He didn't need it. For our sakes. Nice start to this week of teaching.
@zendermeister10 күн бұрын
Wow, you can't say it much more simply than how you put it: "Love is a verb, not a noun." Why didn't I think of that?
@nancykelly528710 күн бұрын
This is so good, Martin. David and I often talk about this. What is love? How to love? How can we love? So many situations in our married life have boiled down to-how we can love one another even in the worst of times? On our first date, David asked me, “Do you think that two people who love God and each other can weather any storm?” (Of which, I did consider that as a proposal and I did say yes to that). And in our life together, we have brought up that phrase many times to help us remember that it is a decision to keep going. Love.

I LOVE this testimony, Nancy. What a great question David asked you. Came straight from the heart. And your answer was also straight from the heart. A rare thing; I thank God for it in you and David, Nancy. Keep on loving. Perfect love is around the corner.

When Jesus declared that he so loved the world, he demonstrated it by loving the world to death and life, and thus reconciling all things unto himself. When the majority of his sheeple currently say I love in this eon, what they mean is to justify themselves before man.

The proof that agape is an action based on a decision is found in what Paul said about what Christ did on our behalf (Rom 5:7-8, CLNT): 7 For hardly for the sake of a just man will anyone be dying: for, for the sake of a good man, perhaps someone may even be daring to die, 8 yet God is commending this love of His to us, seeing that, while we are still sinners, Christ died for our sakes.

My Father told me not to listen to the voice of strangers that declare that his perfect will, will not be done on/in earth as it is in Heaven so his love be with you all for life. 1❤️🔥
@Matthew-f9s9 күн бұрын
Martin, I can see in myself, that my fleshy natural man wants to retaliate or separate from those who are opposing, yet the spirit will then adjust my thinking, usually in the form of acknowledging that God’s agape love is always working imperceptibly behind the scenes, which quickly(usually) returns peace to heart and mind, along with a longing for the offender to come to the truth, that our Father would drag the prodigal to His Son for eonian life as He did me. I think God has impressed on me just how broken and dilute my capacity to “agape” everyone is, which provides a constant thankfulness towards our Lord and His and our Father for their perfect agape love towards all they’ve brought into being according to the purpose of God’s plan of the ages.

Hi Martin...is it possible that God was teaching Adam and Eve about agape? How could they be taught and EMPOWERED to practice agape when the love of God hadn't been shed abroad in their hearts? Is not agape the province of those in the body of Christ? I believe they had a functioning conscience...they knew when they had done WRONG and could respond, but...thats not the same as expressing agape...right?
@zendermeister10 күн бұрын
Hi, Chris. I definitely think Adam was expressing agape love to Eve when he partook of the fruit to join her in sin and death. It's an interesting question because TECHNICALLY, Adam hadn't sinned yet, but his better half had, and I wonder if he knew the magnitude of the sacrifice he would be making. No, agape love is definitely not the exclusive property of the body of Christ. A mother loving her child is expressing agape love. Any mother. Lots of people have and show agape love, but for us is it "shed abroad in our hearts;" that speaks, I think, of a deeper, more far-reaching experience.
@chrismiller118310 күн бұрын
@zendermeister I didn't mean we are hoarders of agape...that's impossible anyway. What I want to communicate is that we have a very different relationship in God's Spirit than Adam and Eve or King David. If Adam and Eve could express agape why wasn't it more incorporated throughout the human race? Did agape simply become diluted throughout the age to the extent that we find ourselves in such an unloving environment? I liked the whole of your teaching, I personally didn't (and still don't) get the example of Adam and Eve. No worries. That's why you teach and I listen.

If Jesus is the Truth, guess what triggers him? For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, And mightest overcome when thou art judged. Romans 3:3-4 A: Love, he is the unmoved mover who is moved with compassion. 😍
@AsonofthemostHigh10 күн бұрын
We should understand by now that people don't always mean the same thing when they say things, when I say Jesus is God, I mean Jesus is God, the 1 and only God, The almighty 1 Lord our God and friend. When a Trinitarian says Jesus is God, they mean Jesus is not the Father or the Holy Spirit, but rather that he is the 2nd person of a 3 membered family, and besides this family of gods; they believe there are no other gods, save for a few pharisees perhaps. They reason God must be 3 and not 1 in reality because of John 17, but they are too ignorant and or proud of their idol gods with short arms to realize or truthfully admit that St John does not even have Jesus mentioning the 3rd member of the 3 headed Godheads family of 1 in John 17. Moreover, they ignorantly ignore that St John also does not mention the Holy Spirit as a distinct member of the 3 person Gods family in John 1.1. It's Just, in the beginning was Jesus, and it ends with the revelation that God was the Word. There is no God besides and or beside him, The Word of God who is the Spirit of God, created all things seen and unseen. So when I say Jesus is God, I mean he is the HIM in Romans 11:36. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. The reason God uses anthropomorphic language in the bible to describe himself is because he is JESUS! Our 1 Lord God not only is Spirit(Singular), but he also has 1 body, and they are both JESUS! God is a living Soul, get it? God's Spirit+body=soul. The body without the Spirit is dead, but Jesus is a quickening and reviving Holy Spirit unto whom we shall all live and love, as he did among us and with us first. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Heb. 2:10) I trust him when he declared that all is many. Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things. (Eph. 4:9-10) 1

Thank you for the comment. Am I correct in assessing that you are a Modalist? So you think Jesus is ABSOLUTELY God? But Jesus died, did He not? I am assuming you believe that God cannot die. If you also believe that Jesus died (assuming you do), then how could Jesus be God absolute? Could it be that Jesus is exactly Who He said He is, that is, the SON of God? Paul often uses the phrase, "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." If Jesus Christ is God absolute, how can He be said to have a Father?

THERE ya GO! Great clarification. The narcissists adopt all the words and phrases that SOUND like love, but the fruit of their actions is filled with chaos and pain. And often, the one who ACTS in a loving way, does so silently, only to have those actions either misrepresented or totally unacknowledged. Thanks for this, and all you do, Martin.
