Great lesson as always! "Most of them end in -e." Ok I got confused there because you said the nouns end in "ee". I thought of the letter "i" because "ee" (as in tee) is not the german pronunciation.

Wie ist es mit dem Ausdruck ,,im Deutschen''? Mir scheint das eine Deklination im Dativ zu sein, aber ich kann nirgendwo eine Erklärung dazu finden. Das Wort ,,Deutsch'' ist auch nicht auf Ihrer Liste zur -N Deklination dabei. Please help!

Came at the right moment as I yesterday was pondering why Geldautomat is Geldautomaten in akkusative case. Thanks. Have you somewhere showed how to construct noun-endings in plural? That is for me a big mystery.

so basically if a masculine noun ends in "-e" or "-t" is very suspicious (plus the extra) that HE may require -n dek.

Ein wertvolles video Jenny 😊 Ich habe eine Frage. Wir verwenden N-Deklination für alle maskulin Nouns in Akku, Dativ und Genitiv,oder? In diesem Satz, 'Ich habe dem JungEN seinen Ball zurückgegeben' Hier 'Ball' is Akkusativ und hat 'Der' Artikel, warum hast du N-Deklination hier auch nicht benutzt? Dem JungEN ist Dativ und Maskulin, deswegen kann man da auch N-Deklination banutzen. Hoffe bald von dir zu hören 😊

I don’t think there should be a n-decl. here. “Der Franzose” is singular nominative and “Marketingabteilung” is not masculine. The “der” before “Marketingabteilung” is dative of “die”.

I think it would have been easier if you started mentioning the words which don't fall in the n-Deklination group. It seems like almost all masculine nouns fall in this category. Thanks for the video though

"N-Deklination" refers to the declination of the so-called "weak" nouns only. I presume that the "strong" and "mixed" nouns will be covered in future videos.

that make the german language even easier , beside you have to remember how to make the nouns in plural form and now you have to know the nouns that take - en- at the end but the are not plural

Wir haben mit ein paar Dänen zu Mittag gegessen. Why ´ein paar´? `mit` requires a dativ, das paar --> einem paar. What´s wrong in my logic?

Wenn das Wort "paar“ nicht groß geschrieben wird, geht es um mehr als zwei Personen, und der unbestimmte Artikel wird nicht dekliniert. „Ich habe mit einem dänischen Paar gesprochen.“ Bei diesem Satz geht es um zwei Personen, die ein Paar sind.
