Hi Steven, thanks for the info will see how mine go. Its a shame we have to modify our wagons just to get them running on the curves.

You're welcome! I know, it's really irritating. Especially after I'd weathered them all too. It's almost like they don't test them

@@finnbroughngauge agree re testing its like they go straight from CAD to production in china.

@@staffordstationngauge8359 yeah! Thing is they're absolutely perfect on a straight bit of track, one of the most free running I have

Hi Steven, have recently subscribed to your channel, and do enjoy the way you show how you do what you do. Particularly like the canal and surrounding area, would you be able to let me know whose make of lock you use and where you purchased the trees around the lock. I have just completed my track laying on my first layout and looking to add some scenic interest. Kind regards Joe

Hi Joe, thanks for subscribing and glad you like the videos! The lock is from the old Hornby Lyddle End range, discontinued now but you may find one second hand if you're lucky. The trees are all off eBay or Amazon, they come in packs of about ten or something. One of my other videos ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/oafJkq2Og7-XedUsi=3WXa7r2_AyHpI9ZY ) shows how I made them look a bit less plasticy! Hope that helps.

Couldn't you have maybe used a packing washer between the body and bogie.
@finnbroughngauge7 ай бұрын
If I had a specific size washer possibly yes, it would have to be big enough to fit over the chassis spigot though and I didn't have anything available. The screws also aren't very long

@finnbroughngauge You could cut one out of plaster card or a margarine tub lid if that makes things any easier.
