I was a SF dj at that time and I gotta say what a time it was. giant warehouses, glowsticks, black light jewelry booths, smart bars, flyers all over the floor, cold, sweat, banging systems, lasers, fractals on large screens, peace and energy. to rock the house and raise the roof as a dj was massive. strictly vinyl record and turntables, crates of vinyl, dj after dj, hands in the air and wooing loudly when the crowd went nuts. My signature track was emmanuel top-acid phase (from alaska on down).

1:05 I came here just to track down this sample, featured on Marc Smith & Gammer "Building Shaker" among many other tracks I am sure. Still not positive if he says "rock ya sober make the building shake" or "rock ya soul but make the building shake" - in the greater context of when and how this music was consumed originally, the first one seems to make more sense.
