You can't solve the problem by increaes MD admission quota by 60%, docs can't run the hospitald by themselves. You need to increase other positions, beds, equipments and faculty capacity. HK is in a slightly better position. I think one of the key issue is income disparity between private sector and public hospitals but they can always tap into the workforce from China.

第一:香港既醫療面對既問題已經唔係單靠醫療界可以解決既問題。係政府係人口政策上問題。 第二:人員培訓時間成本高,香港讀得醫生既都係尖子,最快都要讀5年。香港少子化問題嚴重,更何況尖子… 第三:行政過慢,一個員工由錄用到到職最快都要半年時間。 第四:行業過份倚賴年輕人,登記護士培訓必須為期2年full time 培訓,一星期4-5日,註冊護 士5年,令好多有家庭負擔既人卻步,中年專行更加唔洗念… 暫時念到咁多,歡迎補充🙏🏻
