I thought I'd chime in as an American who's culture exported this nonsense to you. First, I'm sorry. Second, this is not what the majority of Americans like or enjoy. The DEI movement is part of another political movement which is called progressivism. Progressivism is only 6% of the US population but their activists insert themselves into positions of power and are a very loud minority. The majority of America don't like the extreme the progressives but Japanese companies are starting to think that this is something people want when it is not. It's also worth noting that Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion do not literally mean Diversity or Inclusion. Equity is the only word that actually means what is stated, which is equality of outcome (taking from some and giving to others, usually based on skin color or gender identity) rather than equality of opportunity (giving everyone the same chance). When they say Inclusion, they don't mean to include everyone, they mean to exclude people and ideas they don't like such as the concept of Male and Female. I'm sure you've noticed Body Type 1 and Body Type 2, this comes from a radical form of feminist ideology that wants to eliminate sex differences (which is impossible). Diversity means people with different skin colors but all think the same way. That of course is not very diverse, because intellectual diversity is more important than someone who says the same thing but with brown skin or white skin. I hope that helps contextualize a bit of where this very extreme form of political correctness is coming from and what it is.
