That generation struggled with confused and shallow western and eastern ideology with out any vision and goals and resulted in the brilliant people to be killed and the lazy to get power and emigrated.

Doc...b'wello gondere gojame amharigna yemikelidew ye A.A. lij newu, ye gonder sewu b'gurage amharigna siko ayawikm, do you think that was a plausible justification to unlawfuly excute many government officials in 1953 and 1967 as well
There has never been institutionalized discrimination against ethnic group in Ethiopia during Haile Selassie time. None of the stereotypes that time were encouraged by laws or government. The guest sends wrong messages that government of the king encouraged stereotypes against ethnic groups and the Ethiopian people are economically are better off now. One has to make a study before appearing in a media in a subject he is not familiar with, in this case stereotypes. During the king, 200,000 Ethiopians were starving and that led the fall of the king. Now, starving Ethiopians are over 25 million. Both his implications are wrong. What we get from the discussion is little knowledge is dangerous. Around sixty years ago, some students of Haile Selassie University were fooled or hired to be communists by foreign spies to destabilize Ethiopia, and ran to Arab countries to organize and fight against their own country. The first thing communists try to find is an enemy, and accordingly, they made Amharas as oppressors both in ethnicity as Neftegnas and land ownership as landlords. Ethiopian communists still believe in their old outlook without any growth in their intellectual capacity.

Totally agree. The guy just answered a question I had for so long. I was wondering where the root of tribalism was. Obviously, EPRP was one of those, judging by this guy's beliefs.
Dr. Data released by the Derg regime actually showed that Ras Mesfin was not a major land holder. Check your facts before you make these broad statements,
Is he for real? Mekeled is part of our social life we do joke about everything. Most of the jokes are about Amharas themselves but that was ok with you you made them scape goats they're still dying. I am from harar we do laugh when people mis prounouce harari or oromo words we make jokes or even use that word as a nick name. Smh. You better appologize for those Amharas who are still paying their blood for your idiocity

@@sebrimudecir5190 1st , Jara Mesfin wasn't a notorious young man. 2nd ,it was Wabi Shebelie hotel. Ras Mesfin's wealth (coffee land) was that of his wife (Yeshimebet Gumma) .....Richard Greenfield and the 1953 aborted military coup
