Too right. I sat the weekend out in Stadtkyll, must have been about 6 different snow storms come in over the weekend. The track was warm and dry on Monday evening.. and busy.

Mini doesn't care about grip. I have one and believe me it's the craziest car I've ever driven. You can do what ever you want. When you lose the grip you gain it very fast. You can understeer, oversteer, drift, slide using hand brake, you name it the car can do it. My friends in the beginning didn't believe me so I had to make them drive with me.

für jemand der den ring zum ersten mal fährt und/oder nur eine ruhige erkundungsfahrt machen will, halte ich so eine wetterlage für optimal...nicht viel los und die ganz wilden bleiben dir erspart und die einzige gefahr ist deine eigene selbstüberschätzung von fahrzeug und fahrkünste...hab auch mal vor die strecke zu befahren mit meinem 190e 2,3ltr...aber bis dato war es mir immer zu kritisch mit den raudies bei schönem wetter mit ihren 500+ ps rennsemmel auf semi-slicks!

Das ist der worst case. Gummiabrieb+Feuchte=Spiegel. Einmal von der Regen- auf Ideallinie und das Auto fliegt weg. Anfang der Saison, mitten in der Woche bei 100% Trockenheit, das ist der beste Fall.

@@Isaki138 naja gibt wohl ein grund das mitten in der woche suboptimal und der grund dafür bei den meisten normalen menschen lautet wohl eine kleinigkeit namens arbeit! und worst case ist in dem fall zugleich auch best case...erstens während einer erkundungsfahrt gehts nicht um zeiten jagd oder ideallinien sondern die historische strecke in ruhe genießen und abfahren zu können...und als neuling das gleiche, es sollte mehr um technisches fahren erlernen gehen und um das kennenlernen der strecke sowie das lernen von rücksicht auf andere und respekt für die gefahren der strecke, was zu beobachten ist so einigen der freizeit schumi´s definitiv fehlt. sowieso wer es auf zeitenjagd und ideallininien abgesehen hat ist meiner meinung nach bei touristenfahrten völlig falsch und sollte vielleicht eher zu trackday events dort hin...davon abgesehen ist eh nur in den absoluten idealfällen und entsprechenden fahrzeugen und nötigen fahrkünsten allgemein dort überhaupt möglich sowas wie ideallinie zu fahren, und zeitenjagd während touristenfahrten eh verboten...also wo du nachteile siehst sehe ich nunmal nur vorteile und bei so einem wetter sind meistens genau 2 typ fahrer unterwegs...die jungs die wirklich wissen was sie tuen und die jenigen die es ruhig angehen lassen wollen und das ganze nicht so ernst nehmen das linien und zeiten von bedeutung sind, weswegen ich sage optimal für erstbesucher und erkundungs touristen!

Bei den alten MX-5 weiß ich nicht sicher, aber solang man nicht stehen bleibt, bleibt der Innenraum 100% trocken. Außerhalb der Rennstrecke wohlgemerkt, sind Kreisverkehre und Stopschilder die größte Gefahr😅

You need a filming permit to make these videos. You don't get a permit if you show crashes in the videos. If you film without permit, you can get an area ban for the entire track.

@AutoAddictionMedia How does that work when you show videos of cars wiping out? Is the difference touristenfahrten (probably spelt that wrong) vs sanctioned races? Like you can show race cars crashing but not the public? I seem to recall seeing a few of the public crash on your channel too, so how does this work please?

@@sleazymeezy Correct, the filming permit for the races (VLN, NLS and 24h race) do not forbid the publication of crashes, except major crashes with major injuries or worse.
