8:20 God, those tools piss me off big-time. Clearly no understanding AT ALL how a bike rounds it's corners. Overtaking in a corner like that...for punishment he should cycle a lap between the cars on his bicycle. Mind you, I think it's just as cringy when bikes won't give way to clearly faster cars (or bikes). I know there's a lot going on, hard to focus on everything around you, and yes everyone should be a little patient in those situations, but you're not alone on the track, a peek now and then in your mirrors and signalling you've seen them goes a long way.

And beside the terrible looks of forcing your knee to the ground with one or even less than a butt cheek on the seat, youll lose the feeling for the bike and available grip. Knowing how a bike works i have to ask why did the bmw driver try to go around the outside?????⚠️⚠️ if a bike is going into a corner fairly quick it NEEDS to use the track or the width of the track. Yes a bike doesn’t take up much space going in a straight line but is as wide as a car in the corners you cannot change course mid corner on a bike. The cause of this particular incident is the bmw driver…. This is a TF not a track day

It can be very easy to break your neck or back or death on a bike. There was a similar incident in moto gp with rossi and marco and marco died racing incident this was rider v bike result broken neck. Here in the uk you are teached to ride defensively with advanced riding. People do miss judge the width of there car which is why bikers don’t like cars passing close. bikes don’t scare most bikers and some of the ones that have a potential life threatening incident on a bike tend to give it up. Just a small point to add to the excellent comment by @MC-Racing: Part worn scrubs are much cheaper and a viable way of saving money. Slightly less aggressive tyres than a full on track tyre, such as an s22 will also last much longer. Motorcycle tyres are also reasonably easy to change yourself providing you have access to the right equipment / skill. A considerable expense you have on a bike than you don't with the car is you protective equipment, which will cost in excess of £1000 for the lot. If you're running a dedicated track bike you'll likely be transporting it to the ring in a van / on a trailer, this may not be necessary with a sports car. Overall lots of different things to consider with each discipline, ultimately I think it comes down to which one appeals to you more rather than respective costs
