Yea, goddamn stupid biker. Too slow on the corner, but too fast on the straights to overtake. They should just give way. No etiquette at all.

Its very annoying because instead of being able to focus on the corner, car driver has to focus on the biker so as not to hit him. Its like having to take care of a baby. Annoys me to no end. Im both a biker n driver. I know PoV from both. IMHO, just give way if someone is quicker than you, whether biking or driving.

I too am a driver and a biker, the biker seems inexperienced, its obvious from his line selection and pace. I thinks its unreasonable to expect him to check his rearview mirrors on such a technical course given his skill level. If he was on track with other bikers he would easily get overtaken, safely and at any point no problem. I guess this highlights the challenges of sharing a course with cars, lets be kind to the fellow@Seramics

Sorry for the very late response! Honestly, I thought it drove very well. People complain about understeer in RS3's, and while there is some understeer, I think it's very nicely balanced for a car in this category. I haven't driven a Torsen Quattro!

For MD no, it’s stock. I have a 2017 saloon. The 2017 and 2018 models sound better than the 2020 opf one

The guy in the video has an intake installed, he even states it in the comments, you can search and will find his answer. That blow off noise is not there at all on a stock rs3

Dit was zeker en vast mijn eerste keer op de ring in het echt (heb uiteraard al heel veel rondjes gereden op de playstation, maar dat is toch net wat anders haha). En akkoord, maar ik geraakte enorm gefrustreerd van het feit dat hij niet aan de kant wou en telkens op de rechte stukken enorm uitliep, om me dan in elke bocht op te houden. Maar ik begrijp u wel!

@@MopedTime Ik vond van wel. Het is gewoon een super groot voordeel dat je altijd weet in welke richting de volgende bocht komt. Uiteraard: het is TOTAAL anders in real life qua beleving, oneffenheden en hoogteverschillen. Maar het blijft een groot voordeel om de lay-out al vanbuiten te kennen :)

I guess stage 2? Normally one doesn't hear the turbo sound all the time in the stock RS3. Also, tbh it doesn't look like the first time on the track

Stock ECU, but with a CTS intake (open), which is why you hear the turbo spool and flutter. This was indeed my first time on the nurburgring in real life. I had done a lot of laps on the simulator before this, but this was the first time I drove the ring in real life. Of course, this wasn't my first track experience (I had done quite a few trackdays with a cayman GT4, and I have some experience in professional karting as well)

As an Audi and Sport bike owner; the guy on the bike is in over his head. He's not even practicing good body positioning into the corner. That's why he's so slow but thinks he's fast. That much lean angle and upright body positioning in a hard corner is NOT what you want on a bike...

How do you feel with "legendary" understeer? Does it suffer a lot?

It does understeer, but not as much as I thought! This is the facelift RS3, so it understeers less than the pre facelift 8V, and way less than the 8P. This car really surprised me on track!

Thomas Van Looke agreed, though the m2 isn’t a competitor as a totally different car with only 2 doors. Surprisingly the first gen m2 was slower than the 2017 2018 rs3 around a track.

Exzentric 205 vriendelijkheid siert ook 😉 Ik weet ongeveer wel wat ik doe met een auto, heb al genoeg ervaring op andere circuits met de gt4. Dit was de eerste keer ooit dat ik op de ring heb gereden, en de eerste keer ooit met de rs3. Ja, er waren heel veel dingen die beter konden, absoluut, maar ik ben nooit écht over de limiet van de auto geweest. Geen reden om zo cocky over te komen dus 🙂 Kijk maar even de video van op Zandvoort met de GT4, dit was ook de eerste en enige keer op dit circuit. Ga dan ook maar weer los met de commentaar zou ik zeggen 😉 Geniet nog van uw dag ✌🏼

😂 vond dat ik nog karig was en zeker niet onbeleefd. En idd ge hebt de auto niet tot op de limiet geduwd... 👍🏼 enkel zijn er meer voor minder zwaar eraf gegaan 🙏🏼 vond uzelf redelijk “cocky” in uw video vandaar de reactie.
