You can rub and glue Aluminum Foil on the top of your roofs and the light leak is solved. I have been looking for something like this. That's what attracted me to this video.

Incredible build, best transload I've ever seen and then in N scale too.

that is excelent ! you are totaly right (I am in that business) ; I would ad a canopy on the structures between each loading platform; if not the structure can be reduced to the walkway level. You may had some electronic control panel for each loading arm , and an earthing cable roller for the tank cars at the base of each of the loading system
@nscaler4542 жыл бұрын
I did put an electrical box at each station. It's just a grey box, nothing special. I will have to look into an "earthing cable roller" to see what it looks like. Thank you!

Great video and nice project! I wonder if you could mask off the roof sections and spray a few layers of black spray paint. Then repaint with your aluminum color to help hide the light bleeding through.

G’day Mate, nice job on the Loading facility, so prototypical and a heck of a lot of detail. Is it available for purchase and download?

Do it! I found some shots on google image to give me the idea for the roof, but for the most part it all came out of my imagination.

I used Fusion360. Unfortunately I didn't design this kit to be easily reprinted/made, so I am not in a position to sell it.

@@nscaler454 Great work. I am working on a HO version in 3D as well. Found some images online to build from. Are you in Alberta? Great layout, what reference books or links are you using as a guide? I am new to the hobby - so far laid down track and working on signals and wiring.

I would have used the red Bondo body filler to close up the roof cracks. I really like it over the gray plastic filler ( It shrinks to much and is hard to sand or mold to the parts ). Love the idea and how it turned out for you.

Try Super Glue and Backing Soda. Besides the Baking Soda making the Super Glue Cure Faster but it will add strength to the parts. Check out Stephen Cox about the Super Glue and Baking Soda.

Would the baking soda not make it too thick to use on N Scale parts?
