Thank you! What I'd also really like to see in N-scale is a standard station semaphore order board, preferably operational. These were, in their day, as much a part of the American scene as Coca-Cola signs, but unfortunately, no manufacture of N-scale products has yet "bit the bullet." They all agree it's a great idea - for somebody else.

Great idea...but will be tricky to do operational ones in N scale! I'm sure someone will come up with some way soon...

@@peter_borcherds I'd be happy even if I had to position the blade(s) with my fingertips or a little dowel thingy. Putting an on/off light into it should be no problem for a company like NJ International, Showcase Miniatures, Tomar, etc. that already makes semaphore-style block signals. It just gets down to their willingness to take on such a project and, so far, that's been lacking.

It would be such a delicate item and easily broken. I’m sure you could modify one of the already available ones and make it operational? I’m sure the Showcase Miniatures semaphore could be made operational by some talented modeller. However, there is such a small market for operational semaphores in N scale I’m sure it’s not financially viable for these companies.

Very long overdue! These are amazing…I’m not surprised though, as I have been very happy with their searchlight signals. Now just to stock up on these as will need plenty of the signal heads for the gantry’s over the triple track (bi-directional!) main!

@@peter_borcherds yep, you and me both will need a lot of those. Do we know how far out they are? I’ve seen those 3D printed masts on shapeways but I’m not sure if the crossmembers are hollow to run wires.

@@CajonSub Possibly sometime in the summer. Will be similar to their current HO versions, and you’ll be able to choose the width required. I’m not sure about the crossmembers. But if carefully done, you can easily hide the wires, and once painted should be hard to see

Is there a 2 head and 3 head signal and will there be signal briges?

There are 3 components - you purchase the mast kit (ladder, base, brackets, mast), then you purchase as many signal heads as you require. The LED's are available separately as well. Have a look here: www.showcaseminiatures.net/n_scale/n_scale_century_foundry_signals/ - you are looking for the "N Mast Assembly #3 SKU: 566", "N Color Light Signal Head SKU: 574" and the "N Scale D-Type Color Light LED Assembly SKU: LED0009". Signal bridges are a future product release (they have them in HO at the moment, N scale in development)

Thanks I built many n scale modern signals but they were toothpicks and cardstock signals I'm happy these came out. The signal bridges I can wait on just the normal stuff I might need.
