Kinda late for me to respond, but I think the reason why Atlus won't sell their NES and SNES games NOW in the West is because of the work that would be required for staff to go back to old hardware and translate these games. But if Atlus JP ever decided to remake the old MT or SMT games for modern consoles, there's a good chance that it'd be released in the west as well. That's my theory at least.
i having trouble finding it, can u help me find it plz(if u can)?

This is a sequel, and this is still from Famicom era, it obviously improved over the first, your comment makes no sense

@@averageradiantreplays7702 you've got games mixed here. This is footage from Megami Tensei II, for Famicom (aka NES), and he's talking about Shin Megami Tensei, first game from sequel series, for Super Famicom (aka SNES). MT2 was released in 1990, and SMT in 1992, so lack of final boss theme in the latter was a downgrade. Actual SMT2, by the way, was released in 1994.

and it still doesn't have any final boss music which is dissapointing
@KevinTheDuke22 Because of the religious issue, Atlus cannot sell their games for NES or SNES in the western countries. But translation patch for SMT series are made, so I recommend you to search for it. (Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei 1&2 is the SNES remake of this game)
