So much meaning to unravel, it’ll take too long to cover it all here, but Henry did tease the fairy tale theme so this surreal mood was somewhat expected. It’s a reflection of his journey to date, an ode to his past, pains and dreams, as well as future/forward outlook. It would seem this “Journey” album contains many personal life metaphors, so you’d have to know most of his history to pick up on the clues he left for fans both old and new. But imho in this song, the duality you saw seems to be a consistent motif reflected in both sound (the doubling) as well as visuals (2 cars, 2 lives?, 2 places, and many other things dropped in as clues in the whole song). His entire career til now has been a sometimes (forced?) duality between 2 or more public personas, like his quirky comedic side vs his musicality. Certainly not of his own choosing and oftentimes out of his control, which I think was aptly reflected in the heavy mood and tempo. You are right. I agreed that this video is a his personal metaphor. He has a bright career until now. He shows up as a funny & happy guy. However, his soul always chase a dreamy life. He belongs to a natural place with forest and ocean. Nice art. Proud of him as always ❤️❤️❤️

These allegories are fun and meaningful at the same time, there are so many in this album I think fans will be having “fun” with them for a long time! Btw, I also recommend “Just Be Me”, give it a listen if interested - responds to what fans have been wondering for many years.

I have recently fallen down a Henry rabbit hole and from what I can tell, this video is fully in keeping with who he is. I would love to hear an English version of the song. Henry fascinates me because when he's doing music related stuff he seems comfortable and natural, and the rest of the time he seems like he learned about human behaviour by watching TV.

Why do I like Radio MV? (2nd VIDEO) part 2 Let's say that in these parts (the beginning and the end) of the video, as well as in the corresponding parts of the music (which I see structured as a symphony in 4 movements), I find the master touch of Henry (and his team) who will keep me for who knows how long (will it be another 20 years as for "J't'emmène au vent"?) trapped in this song ... And here I find the main theme, duality ... this double world of Henry the actor and musician, Henry between 2 worlds, Henry and the languages, two things always… but all connected to each other, as I think there is a link between the end of the two 2 videos (Radio, I luv you): an overview of the water. It doesn't mean I don't like THE song ... but maybe without this video, I would have had another preference on the same album! After looking at his double in the car as in a mirror (here I find a bit the director’s signature, also used in another MV where 2 k band boys look at each other in a mirror, but also a TT of Henry where he was talking to himself in the mirror), Henry closes his eyes in the first scene and when he is opening them we find ourselves transported to another world. Here are several frames that surprise the duality: Henry in two hypostases (the hunter - hunted and the singer), two cars, two spaces (nature and city, forest as closed space and the sea as open space) etc. I like the transition between the image of a singer in a freaking Ermenegildo Zegna jacket and the character looking for something in a stylish hunter print coat. (Very curious about the brand!) Okay, I knew that Henry is very fashion and I had no doubts about the style in this MV too, I also like the wet curly hairs a little surf style very present in the fashion shows (only video unfortunately) this summer in Italy and France but reminiscent of 90s fashion, like the music of Journey by the way. I remember a Henry’s vlog in which he talked about this water spray that gives him the image of just coming out of the shower ha ha, but also about his passion for hoodies ... Happy to find all this here even more times. You can see that Henry does not only advertise (okay there is advertising in expensive MVs, otherwise how can you have some quality there ... however I appreciate more the rotation movement around the singer in Zegna jacket! (min 0: 38)), but that this has really become his style. It is not only the clothes that remind me of the advertising but also some movements, these games between tracking shots and overviews, often too many in some MVs with the aim of creating a series of psychological emotions in the customer to buy a certain product. But in my opinion they are still necessary in a quality MV because, let's be serious, the director of any MV, including this one, I don't think he pretends to do a long side shot like in the scene of the massacre on the Odessa steps in the film “Battleship Potemkin ". Indeed, as in the current world for these wide shots, a drone was certainly used. Here is the surprise at min 0:56, the hunter sees the deer. Is Henry really a hunter? Or is the one hunted? Without having seen the end that clarified my ideas a little more, I still thought it was an allegory: the deer is Henry himself and he is looking for himself, but what a crazy ride in his journey, always “on and on and on”. I like Henry's maestro touch again: he is the one who starts the run when Henry the singer raises his hand in his dance (1:08). Also I find very beautiful the side shot that is following the race in the forest and above all the surprise, technically speaking, at the moment in which it stops: the shot from the bottom towards the top of the trees that surprise the light entering directly into the camera lens and that, perhaps exaggeratedly, it reminds me of some beautiful Kurosawa frames (min 1:40). And here a zoom that pleases me: Henry with a fine necklace (at the end better than neckless, hi hi! nin 1:48) before seeing him in front of the deer (min 1:53), i.e. himself as at the beginning of the MV in front to the camera, and the image taken immediately after (min 1:55). I also like another the repetition here: the rotation around Henry from the present and the past, Henry in white and in black. A kind of yin and yang? Just to always remain in the subject of duality! And here the race moves into the present: boom ... lights on and crazy race of the 600 CV, white however ... Ugh ... how do you do it, in the Italian collective memory, SHE is red! Point! But in fact a white Ferrari looks better in this story! But it still confuses me, anyway! Fans loved the car's license plate. In fact, what else could better emphasize the real character of the video? He he ... but, here I think it's a bit of another signature of the director (I saw 2 videos of him in here he plays with the number / letters of the license plate, bad or good idea that is!) I still like the idea of surprise the three parallel races (Henry in the forest, Henry in the Ferrari, Henry in the Jeep). Who will win? Which Henry arrived in front of the sea? I read that the MV was filmed on the island of Jeju, in whatever way a beautiful landscape. But that's not the only pleasant surprise: what will probably always be the most striking image of the whole MV is the final image. Wow, just wow! And this is where I understand that in fact the lines of the song are a wonderful oxymoron. H says "I don't believe in fairy tales." but what else do we have here without a marvellous tale in which the rules of gravitation are no longer respected. Wow, are we in front of a Chagall painting? A walk in the sky? Flying cows? Flying violins? No, it is the whales that fly and call the deer (Henry) with their song. The Journey does not end! In the interview with Joon Park, Henry says that Radio is a break-up song (with a girl, with yourself). From where, I think, also the choice of the animal, the deer, very present in many mythologies, fascinating and scary ... dual. I don't think until this song Henry has ever opened up to fans that much. He practically shows us his heart open as in surgery. Unlike many fans whose comments I read, I didn't cry, but I was very proud to have had the chance to get to know Henry's music from 2013 onwards! When I think of Radio MV, I always think of the deer that approaches the sea at the call of the whales. The whales! I think about Sepulveda, unfortunately passed away due to the coronavirus this year and his "Story of a whale told by itself"! And I think about many other moments ... and I'm happy that this song gives me this chance to escape for a little while from the stress of the pandemic. I don't know if this MV will be as successful as another of the same director for AGT, but surely when I listen to Radio I will only listen to it in the MV. I'll leave the other Journey songs for the car!

Like your idea about the music. Here, what I think about the video: Why do I love Radio MV? (2nd VIDEO) 1st part Normally when I am interested in a song it is for the musicality first of all, then slowly I discover that maybe the verses touch me more or that some frame of the video is perfect for that song etc. In the case of Radio I must say that I was shocked from the start by the image. I knew something about the music from the traisers presented by Henry with a teaspoon, a little about the story I got an idea from Henry's discussion with Zion T, but I must say that the cinematic image is the biggest surprise I had. I mean BIG! If today I am here to express my humble considerations on a k pop song it is because in the world (still very restricted for me, by personal choice) of k pop I entered thanks to k cinema when in 2004 I discovered a movie that won an important award in Venice, and which is still my favourite movie of all times. So that I have a little more experience on (also k) cinema, but I must emphasize that it is the first time that I have spent enough time to understand who is behind the video of an MV and I am happy to have done this research before write what I think on Radio MV. Big applause for the Ar Film team and the director Ojun Kwon. For me, and I say this after having watched one hundred thousand times Radio MV in the last few days but also other works of the director (pub, MV), this is undoubtedly the best short movie (oh yes ... for me this MV is a movie) of the this director among those I have seen and the best MV of Henry. Let's say that I expected a little on the quality since we are in front of a Hollywood star and in any case with a bit of experience on quality cinema. It may seem strange, since from various reviews or comments I have read on the SNS, it is the video that has created some confusion in the fans. But I believe that if Henry's music would have been a guarantee for all fans, to empathize with this MV you must have known well Henry before this video. So someone discovers that in fact the video does not confuse, indeed it is very clear in the illustrate the real Henry, that he wanted to present us in this 3rd album. Let's see just a few ideas I have about this video because I could even write a book about many things I noticed in there and many of them I lived with my imagination thanks to the emotions transmitted. I begin with the fact that the MV is a story studied very well to perfectly fit the history of lyrics and music. Someone could tell me that it is part of the basic techniques of cinema, but I would answer with a question: how many current MVs expensive or less are able to follow the song's thread 100%? I’m afraid that I still have fingers on my hands to count them ... just saying ... The beginning and the end are somewhat typical of quality MVs because in fact they recall the cinema at least as in its frames’ structure. Basically, Radio begins like a good old movie to watch on a big art cinema screen ... an overview to discover a deposit and hear various noises (tick tick the water on which Henry passes, clap clap his rhythmic steps, the rustle of clothes, his breath) that bring us closer to the world of fairy tales in which the master will introduce us when he closes his eyes. THE song. I like the rotation movement finished with the close-up of Henry which I see as an orchestra maestro without baton and who has to get the go to his fairy tale. I like the idea that the video camera jerks a bit towards the close-up without a smooth movement as it creates even greater emotions in waiting for the rest of Henry’s story. Technically speaking, anyone who knows more about cinema than me will tell me that the close-up is the classic shot to emphasize emotions. But here we are, Henry closes his eyes and the scene changes: we are in his past, in his memories. In this way the video of the own song is like a flash back. I remember Henry's discussion with Zion T about “freeze”… but honestly I imagined it differently. I also wrote a post that the teaser rather reminded me of Alice in wanderland. The pleasant surprise is that here is another fairy tale ... still to be studied ... hi hi hi ... a Hairy tale. Ok, I discovered that their collaboration is not the first for this MV... I also saw the Chinese version of "I luv you" perhaps, for me, even more classic from a cinematic perspective than this Radio MV also for the format of the shot that reminds me of Hollywood movies from the 1950s. Hi hi… maybe not by chance since Henry’s movie was released in Hollywood the same year, right? But I didn't pay much attention to it at that time ... I still have some surprises to wait from Henry, right? Well ... now it’s easy to understand why I so rarely change my TOP 1 in my chart with favorite songs and artists (I had already written that now it's only Radio, right?) I go directly to the end of the MV to underline the strong relationship with the beginning ... I am still trying to understand if in the background of the beginning they are not also the whales of the end, as in a sort of deposit in which they have been trapped together with emotions and memories of Henry ... but for now it's just an idea ... However the movie ends with the overview in reverse, we slowly move away from the story accompanied by the whales call and then, as in the cinema, the sound (this time the sweet sound of the waves) makes us wake up from the fairy tale and introduces the credits !!! I love the MVs that remember those who worked hard. Finishing “tout court”, and moving fast into reality doesn't really affect my long-term memory, so not many songs remain among my favourites for that reason as well. Just as in the cinema getting up before the projector has turned off gets on my nerves!

He performed with 2 pianos, 2 drums, and showed off his high notes. I was SO stunned by this performance that I watched it 10 times in a row LOL. Henry's LIVE stages are always better than the studio version.

I watched the reactions of two girls I don't remember, but they explain that in fairytale culture, deer represent dreams. Henry chased it. And at the end there appear dolphins - manifestation of freedom, liberation. Like he previously entered SM and has now freed himself from there.
