@@bobbiward9506 choices create opportunities and opportunities can lead to destruction but unfortunately addiction isn't a choice. It's horrible how good substances make many people feel. I'm not an expert but I know heredity plays a role and deals all sorts of hands. When you are up and in the lead in a good game or glam it seems smart to stay up until you reevaluate where you stand. It is sad how so many things feel so good and can manage life so well... It does such a good job it completes you if you don't fight back. Often it wins when you do. Drugs are there for you any time and every time until the very end. Never far away or out of reach and alway able to take pain away and everything that goes with it. I've watched its efficiency and gave the ok for it to take my mom's breath away. She wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Drugs and alcohol did not give her the talent to sing, nor did it teach her chords/notes and how to improvise. You do not need those things for talent, she suffered and eased her pain with drugs/alcohol, her songs reflect her feelings and what lead her to those substances since she was in pain.

When I first heard of Amy Winehouse, it was the song Rehab, and I couldn't get enough of her after I found her music. This woman was extraordinarily talented up there with the greats like Etta James, Aretha, Whitney, Rosemary Clooney, Billie Holiday, Mama Cass Elliot and many others. One would say she was an old soul, and the way that she dressed in the doo wop era proved that not only was her voice was of that era so was her way of dress. I wished she had been around longer to bring us more of that gifted voice of hers. A True Talent, Gone Too Soon.

2021, can't believe how long it's been. I still listen frequently. Her voice was magical. She could and can bring me up and then again bring me down. The lifestyle was too much for her at such a young age. As any addict knows, we think their is nothing that's gonna take us down, and then we get a little older and start realizing that '' it's"got me. Whatever that it may be. The effects start getting stronger and you need more to feel better. Long story short, addiction sucks and will take down the people we thought were the strongest. I lost another friend yesterday. Let's be honest her voice is perfect her pitch and range will stand out from other female artists who are great vocalists. I'm a 48yr old male who loves music and voices. Amy is not gone she is just in a better place than her troubled life was. She had fun and that's important. Others may not agree, but all that heroin she jammed in her veins gave her a chance to see beyond the door of judgement day. She is a great singer and lyrical genius rehab took the opportunity to say you know what I don't want to go . I'm glad she said no . Death is inevitable so maybe she had fun getting to know the world my fucking life so but out . Enjoy my music but keep your opinion to yourself cause it means fuck all to others . Stick that needle in your vein sadly dying won't be any different to living so many things are not true about addicts so make sure you get the facts straight before you demonise something you don't understand 🎶💉

Here I am in January 2022. I love Amy, and she was a star who's light will never go out. Just sad we lost her too soon and couldn't have more of that incredible voice. I will love you forever. 💋💕xxxrosita

This is the last song I heard when my beloved cat Midnite was dying. We were in the car and it came on. It relaxed her. I miss her so much. Can't get through the first verse without crying.

Saw this incredible girl twice at the same Glastonbury. I can’t believe how lucky I was to witness such vocal genius. I still get goosebumps to this day.

The original is fantastic, this is simply sensational. The pure raw emotion comes to the surface and you just know that she's singing with all her fragility and self.doubt at the surface Yes she had her faults, yes she got in with the wrong people and yes she suffered, but strip everything down to the surface and what you have is a young girl who just wanted to sing and find true love I count myself fortunate that I lived in a time where I got to hear such profound, unadulterated genius. Amy was a born singer, so natural. She didn't want fame, she didn't want fortune, she just wanted to sing with that gorgeous, soulful, beautiful voice I hope she's at peace with herself and in a better place and I hope that when I go I'm greeted with her singing this at the entrance

Amy, we will always love and miss you, RIP , gone too soon Tonight you're mine completely You give your love so sweetly Tonight the light of love is in your eyes But will you love me tomorrow? Is this a lasting treasure Or just a moment's pleasure? Can I believe the magic of your sighs? Will you still love me tomorrow? Tonight with words unspoken You say that I'm the only one But will my heart be broken When the night meets the morning sun? I'd like to know that your love Is love I can be sure of So tell me now, and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow? So tell me now, and I won't ask again Will you still love me tomorrow? Will you still love me tomorrow? Will you still love me...

Amy’s voice is over the top AMAZING!!! I love this lady n I’m so sorry she’s not here anymore. I feel Amy had enough in the end & everything came to a head in her little sad mind. Her mindset was broken down and she had enough. I don’t think she was watched enough the day she sadly passed away. If she was taken care of n woken up in the morning, she may of had a chance if she was alive. People said that it was left alone that she was worth more money dead unfortunately…. Disgusting 🤮. She’ll never be forgotten about & she will always be in my prayers and heart n the whole world. God bless you , my beautiful friend Amy.❤ HAPPY EASTER 🐣 TO YOU. X I hope you are happier in sweet heaven. Love you for ever Amy. Your voice is so beautiful omg off the scale. RIP❤❤❤
