⁠@@Pluto5323Cause it’s stale? I love the 4 but the only real “Girlboss” are Daisy and Pauline. Toadette is silly and crafty, Rosalina is a quiet but kind, I wouldn’t call either girlbosses. Peach having multiple outfits is not some girlboss agenda, she simply likes her pink dress a lot. Mario Odyssey gave her tons of outfits that fit her really well.

@ But Starlow NEVER had this kind of sound as her speech sfx before. She already had her own unique speech sfx from her very debut. So it's not nostalgic for her to have this basic sfx at all. In fact, I don't think this specific, basic tick sound had _ever_ been used in a Mario & Luigi game before, so nostalgia isn't really a factor here to begin with. And even then, applying it to Starlow, who didn't even appear in the first two games, is really random and weird; you'd think an even older character should have it instead if it was meant to instill nostalgia.
