Just found your channel. So useful. The thing that’s missing from audiobooks sometimes is the sounds in between the words. They are often too clean. Hearing agreement, surprise etc which are similar to ‘um and ah’ sounds in English. These sounds are actually very meaningful, also your repetition of words for emphasis. Thank you. Have subscribed and will check out your podcast. I miss Japanese style barbecue at the beach, playing dodgeball (not a common game in the UK) and eating ramen and Japanese style kimchi after work by Hakata Station in Fukuoka. I still dream about that ramen and it’s the main reason why I will be going back for a visit.
