If significant upgrades for N-50 aren’t happening in a timely fashion, especially the southern half, then at absolute bare minimum, they should immediately plan significant redesigns of both the A-28 & A-6 interchanges at first opportunity. That trucking traffic heading the opposite direction the entire video didn’t seem like something worth scoffing at to put it lightly…

why is there a picture of a random man walking into the bp shop around the 2:13 minute mark?

that's a sony vegas bug. it sometimes loops the first frame of the recorded block of video when you render it. when you check it in the editing process, it isn't there. I started filming at a gas station, but cut the unnecessary part out.

Better question. How in the world did you manage to stop the video at that exact point?

I think Zwolle should be connected to Enschede through a new motorway / expressway connection though. That would give Zwolle a much better connection to Germany, and also make Zwolle more accesible from people coming from Twente. If the government doesn't do anything, you can always build an expressway which actually has motorway standards (e.g. N281, that's a former motorway though). Would connect to Osnabrück, Münster, Hannover and Berlin. Also, Hannover is I think the only city economically worth mentioning in Niedersachsen (Berlin outperforms Niedersachsen in the statistics, from what I've seen). But I've been in Hannover, and it's not poor imo. To the south and west, Zwolle is well connected. However, the east could be improved, even though it has a connection with Germany through A12 in Guilders (I would bet that's a crowded motorway though). I think it's important for any new cabinet to invest in infrastructure, especially on what they like to call the 'borders of the country' (which definitely includes twente, too, in my opinion). It seems at least logical to connect Enschede with Zwolle with a motorway asap. I think Enschede should also be connected with Arnhem via Doetinchem through a motorway (that's another province though, so they should co-operate and Guilders would logically have to pay the most). Expanding a road to 2x6 or similar actions are much more expensive, cost-wise. For the randstad area, I understand that they do this on some stretches, but if cities get too much traffic load, then doubling of rail infrastructure seems logical to me there. The funny thing is that the costs for such construction stand in no proportion, in my eyes, to the (current, also) randstad projects. Especially now the economy is better, such investments should be made, even if (yes, even if), taxes must be higher to realise that in my eyes. That is, because, if such roads, rails, can truly increase quality of life (I think this has an 'unseen' effect on the health, mental state of people too if things get more comfy), then I think that will benefit the economy as well on the long term. Let's just stop spending money on projects that don't really matter. Of course I understand that investments in the randstad infrastructure is important too. However, other national projects should not be delayed for it, firstly. Secondly, if the randstad area is at some point pleased with its own infrastructure, first look at the rest of the country, not just lower taxes first necessarily. There area problems in Groningen, and some parts in the east of the country could be better connected I think. Getting from Twente by train to the north or the south (south Limburg in particular) is quite difficult too. Some lines are only one rail, or even not electrified yet in the Netherlands. Are we really done? Is the Netherlands 'finished'? I don't think so. That's why new investment is necessary. Also, if there is barely any consequence for it, since we're below 60% debt to GDP, (perhaps 55% at the moment) the cabinet could try to use some debt, e.g. 5% to get the most important infrastructural projects done, I think. A small point of light is, however, that the infrastructure is well-maintained in the Netherlands. Even though, e.g. Germany has excellent infrastructure, it has been poorly maintained, also, to compensate for eastern Germany (solidarity tax). This has led much German infrastructure to fall into terrible states of disrepair over the years. I think there is still some important work to be done before we can say the Netherlands is 'finished'. I hope that it may be seen. Also on the eco-friendly field of course. We're behind there as well. I don't know if it's possible, I would like to see tax decreasing as well. But I don't know if it's 'really' possible right now. I don't believe that it is so that the government has no eye for solidarity though, they just fail to see some things. And somehow, organisationally-wise, I think some money is probably wasted. Anyway, long story short, I think infrastructure isn't finished yet in the Netherlands, even if it's quite good.

No tax-increase nor debt increase please, it is not nessesary, it is better to gradually continue to develop our infrastructure in the places most dire in need.
