I did test it out last night, it works great, and they don't ever bring up Diana ever again. I would like for them to get someone who sounds like Emily, as I don't think they can get her old voice actress, but this mod is a must have if you liked Emily and wanted her in the 3rd game.

If you use Take Earth Back now then you'll see all the races, as well as the volus flotilla during one sequence. With the prototype content we're still drafting what we're going to show, so almost anything is on the cards.

amazing showcase, how many cool mods! i have 1 question, ME1 diversification project de-washes out just the look of the Citadel, or the whole game is affected by those color adjustments? which are so amazing, it makes the game look very similar to the original Mass Effect

It's mostly MELLO doing that. The footage was recorded using MELLO with the bloom and motion blur turned on. That mod affects the whole game.

It's possible that we'll add it to the main TEB mod but add toggles so people can pick and choose what happens, but as mod leader I kind of favour making it a separate release. It's still in its very early stages, so we'll see how the experiments go and how our design phase goes.

What the Modding community has done for these games so far is nothing short of breathtaking, Yet I hate myself because I don't think I'm ever gonna get to experience these mods. I have a PC but I don't know if it's going to be strong enough to run all of these mods, plus I don't know the first thing about installing mods that doesn't involve using the Steam Workshop. I'm very illiterate when it comes to computers, that's why I'm a console peasant. But at least I can observe from afar.

The good thing is that setting up mods is pretty easy once you've got the Mass Effect Mod Manager and use nexusmods to download the mods through it. Also, our mods aren't going anywhere, so you can always return when you've got a more powerful PC to play Legendary Edition on. If you ever need help with installing mods, there are various discords you can go to such as ME3Tweaks or the public modding server

I am holding of LE, as I felt it had nothing to offer the original trio did not. As HD Textures and FX was already made for it. But All these mods will make me play through it all once again in the future. For now I am happy with the original, but once the modding make LE get close to what my modded OT has. I will once again go through the adventure again.

The benefit of waiting to play Legendary Edition is that the longer you wait, the more impressive mods you'll have to install. As a mod maker we don't always feel the benefit of using mods as we're too busy just making them, so I envy you and your future playthrough :D

The Elcor team were many of those who worked on TEB and I have to highlight a few for their dedicated work on it - Mellin for his intensive testing, and Exkywor & Lunk for their incredible cutscene overhauls. Many others worked on the mod and their contributions were brilliant too, but those three vastly improved the mod.

Unfortunately the modding tools for Andromeda are in the very early stages, but who knows what will happen. The game deserves to have its modding scene grow like ours, as there are some wonderful modders in that community and the game itself is ripe for upgrading through mods.

It's incredible, really. The Retake Earth movement in 2012 obviously gave us the Extended Cut, but in some ways the modding scene was the best thing to erupt from that fan outcry. So much dedication and creativity has been poured into improving these games, and for many years the community helped keep the games alive.

I don't know for certain, but I do know that mod was for the original trilogy and then Legendary Edition happened, so it's likely been swallowed up by that. Many of us have ended up spending the past year just rebuilding things we'd already made

Has there been an update on Caleston Restored? Its been over a year and there's been no update.

Caleston Restored is still in the pipeline, but the AI controversy awhile back and a few other things have led to it being set aside for a time to work on Hot Labs Restored. Partly because Hot Labs Restored was a great way to get used to recreating content, and partly so the mod leader can learn to code ways to make it simpler in the future. So it's still being worked on, it's just had a delay.

On one hand I get it, if it was used to take away a VO's job but in this case and the case of many mods, it's being used for the fandom in a nonprofit way. The mod Jack's Shore Leave was terminated due to A.I controversy and that mod was great.

The Caleston Restored makes me feel all kinds of things. Is there a release roadmap for it or is it still in early stages of development?

Both. We have planned to release a major part of the hub and its characters in the first release, along with a part of the main quest. Everything else will come in subsequent updates.

I am confused. Was that ME3 Alliance Dreadnought you see get clapped on Earth, during the prologue- was that not the correct vehicle model?

The original ship was a cruiser but Ashley's dialogue speaks about a dreadnaught. It's easier to edit the ship than to edit the dialogue, so we changed it over to the correct mesh

Your war assets and ex squadmates joining the final fight is awesome. has an almost ARC mod vibe to it. I'm sure it has been mentioned before, but the idea of controlling different squad groups of 3 taking on mini missions during priority Earth would be so good. Then, if they are successful they can join you for the beam run.

The TEB team are currently in the very early stages of designing, and experimenting with, future content for the mod. The intention is to only implement our concepts if we can make them feel as if they truly belong in the game, so its possible some parts of the prototype won't turn up ingame or they'll look different. There's a lot of excitement about what we can add to TEB, but we're aiming to do it right if we do it at all

We had one in 2020, but last year we were all too busy remaking our mods to do one
