What is the military ID#? 66-????? I flew Hueys for 11 years in national guard, wondering if it is in my logbook.

Are those skid wheels on the ground?

So it still has that huey sound.. The carbon fiber rotor blades took some of that away.😢

Nope. It would have been a trainer at Pendelton or Coranado. Most of the Huey's were thrown overboard after they were finished there. Some were left behind unfortunately. Can't tell what this one was to to in the meantime. Looks like it had an easy life. I would have logged with it.

I thought it's cruise speed was much higher ..more 110 knots cruise and 130 max..

In the national guard we were limited to 90 knots, flew up to 105 a few times but vibrations would start.

@craig7083 A helicopter like that should be able to handle much higher speeds..
