I now know why CF fired Dave. The guy has the awareness of a pine nut . . . and rude as hell. JR and JY are part of a SMALL group of people (Sevy included) that are literally holding CF up on the media front. Dave comes in and claims he doesn't know JR or JY. Fine, we will take him at his word, but there is NO reason to treat them like 'nobodies' . . . that is, at best, how he treated them. Very off-putting.

What doesn’t have a place is a marathon row. Or any marathon distance event. Those are specialty events. I like the machine’s as I have them. I can’t figure out how they hit the cal’s per hour numbers some get. I’m strong and reasonably fit and I can’t come remotely close. 30,40,50 cals in 30 seconds on an echo bike, wtf. My best is 19. I don’t see how it’s possible. As a side note, I don’t care what you do, if you have fitness or athletic hobbies go to a top level CrossFit competition. Going to syndicate made me jones to workout and train Jiu jitsu. There’s no way you don’t get fired up watching elite athletes get after it.

I have a lot of respect for Dave but saying Sevan wants CrossFit to fail in any way is illogical. I’d say 95-98% of all of his media and publishing is of CrossFit. It would be a really hard if not impossible argument to say that CrossFit itself is doing a better job promoting than him. Dave is definitely a company man though!
