NA MIATA DIY TOP HATS & DIY BILSTEIN COILOVERS | We finally got the LS Miata Lowered!

We are building an LS NA Miata on a budget. In this episode, we are lowering the Miata by building new top hats and installing DIY Bilstein coilovers...and it turned out amazing! This video will show you how to DIY build your project car with simple tools and save money. The LS swap Miata is moving forward in full force and we are having a blast and saving a ton of money doing the work ourselves!

Love the matte finish! I’ve thought about using that paint on my 300c hemi project. How bad was the tiger stripes from the rattle can If any? Def don’t notice any from the video. Love the build tho keep up the hard work!!

Love seein progress on this build as usual, keep truckin! The pain is real with NA vs NB top hats and ride height shenanigans for those of us on a budget. I’m still sittin a bit taller than most with NB sport shock assemblies in my NA, but I drive my car year round in the snow so it’s sort of a necessary evil. Glad you guys found a good solution without totally breakin the bank on coilovers, and those custom hats were really impressive! (Also the crazy work in editing on this video is not unnoticed) Keep it up y’all, when this build is finished I’m sure this channel is gonna blow up big time, there’s just so much to be learned from your mentality on how you attacked this build, which is a bit lost on the big money build channels that outsource half their work or buy expensive stuff that they could build themselves with a little time and skill. Anyway, I’m lookin forward to that first start!

Definitiffly low enough 😅 To be ownest as a chassis and suspension engineer welding and cutting the damper almost made me cry but as a garage mechanic i loved to watch someone doing this👍 You will not regret buying the bilstein damper, i drive them by my self and think they are worth the price.
