Tip #3 is the most important, but tip #1 cannot be overstated. Its difficult to want to continue working if your garage looks like garbage and is cramped from parts, tools, and cardboard everywhere. Organize your tools unless you want to keep looking for them throughout the job/project. Thanks for the motivation and hope your projects are going well!

Mineral spirits leaves an oil residue. For cleaning before painting lacquer thinner or denatured alcohol. Loving the project!

You're kind of goofy, I like it. Dollar store LA Awesome and Oven Cleaner are the jam but do hurt the aluminums a bit. I should start using diesel

I'm confused, you spray degreaser down the intake ports and think nothing about it. Next you cover the engine because a metal chip might fly up a foot and get in the engine.

you just buy the NRG short "race" hub... turns the male shaft into a locking collar for the quick relaease.

That pump will not support 1000 hp. The AEM version of the Bosch moves more fuel, and it will still not support 1000 hp, unless your talking flywheel hp maybe at low fuel pressures it will
